12 So with yourselves, since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, strive to excel in building up the church. 

New International Version

12 So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 It’s the same with you. You want the gifts of the Spirit. So try to do your best in using gifts that build up the church.

12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
