1 Керівнику хору. Псалом Давидів. Пісня.

2 Тобі, Боже, належить тиха хвала на Сіоні, і перед Тобою будуть виконані обітниці.

3 Ти чуєш молитву; усе живе приходить до Тебе.

4 Здолали мене справи беззаконні, але Ти очистиш нас від переступів наших.

5 Блаженний той, кого Ти обираєш і наближуєш, щоб він мешкав у Твоїх дворах! Ми наситимося благами Твого дому, святого Твого Храму.

6 Ти справедливо відповідаєш нам діяннями, що страх наводять, Боже, Рятівнику наш, надіє всіх країв землі й далеких морів!

7 Ти, підперезаний могутністю, утверджуєш гори Своєю силою.

8 Ти втихомирюєш шум морів, шум їхніх хвиль і рик племен.

9 І злякаються мешканці країв землі через знаменні діяння Твої. Вихід ранку й захід вечора Ти вигуками радості наповнюєш*.

10 Ти турбуєшся про землю й напуваєш її, збагачуєш її щедро. Потік Божий повний води – Ти готуєш людям зерно, бо так влаштував Ти землю.

11 Ти зволожуєш її ріллю, рівняєш її борозни, розм’якшуєш рясними дощами, благословляєш її збіжжя.

12 Ти увінчуєш рік добротою Своєю, і стежки Твої крапають жиром.

13 Крапають вологою пустельні пасовища, і радістю оперізуються пагорби.

14 Луги вдяглися отарами худоби, і долини вкрилися зерном. Усі радісно вигукують і співають!

New International Version

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

1 Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.

2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers.

3 They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.

4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear.

5 They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, ‘Who will see it*?’

6 They plot injustice and say, ‘We have devised a perfect plan!’ Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

7 But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down.

8 He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.

9 All people will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done.

10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will glory in him!
