Dem Gerechten widerfährt kein Unheil

1 Wer die Unterweisung liebt, liebt Erkenntnis, wer aber die Ermahnung verschmäht, ist ein Narr. (Spr 10,8; Spr 13,18; Spr 15,10) 2 Wer gut ist, erlangt Wohlgefallen beim HERRN, den Heimtückischen aber spricht er schuldig. (Spr 14,17) 3 Durch Frevel gewinnt kein Mensch Bestand, aber fest bleibt die Wurzel der Gerechten. (Ps 125,1; Spr 10,25; Spr 12,7) 4 Eine tüchtige Frau ist die Krone ihres Mannes, eine schändliche aber ist wie Fäulnis in seinen Knochen. (Spr 14,30; Spr 18,22; Spr 19,14; Spr 30,23; Spr 31,10)

5 Die Gerechten trachten nach dem Recht, die Frevler planen Betrug. (Spr 11,23; Spr 14,8) 6 Hinterhältig reden die Frevler, um Blut zu vergiessen, die Rechtschaffenen aber rettet der Mund. (Spr 1,11; Spr 14,3) 7 Die Frevler werden gestürzt und sind nicht mehr da, das Haus der Gerechten aber bleibt bestehen. (Spr 14,3; Spr 14,11) 8 Für seinen Verstand wird ein Mann gelobt, einer mit verkehrtem Sinn aber wird zum Gespött. 9 Besser, gering geachtet sein und einen Sklaven besitzen, als vornehm tun und nichts zu essen zu haben. 10 Der Gerechte kümmert sich um sein Vieh, das Erbarmen der Frevler aber ist grausam. (2Mo 23,5; 5Mo 25,4; Spr 27,23) 11 Wer seinen Acker bebaut, hat genug Brot, wer aber Nichtigem nachjagt, dem fehlt der Verstand. (Spr 20,13; Spr 28,19) 12 Der Frevler verstrickt sich im Netz seiner Wünsche, die Gerechten aber sind fest verwurzelt.^[1] (Spr 21,10) 13 Der Böse verfängt sich^[2] in den falschen Worten seiner Lippen, der Gerechte aber entgeht der Not. (Ps 34,20) 14 Von der Frucht seines Mundes wird man satt, und was seine Hände tun, wird dem Menschen vergolten. (Spr 13,2; Spr 18,20) 15 Dem Toren erscheint sein Weg gerade, aber weise ist, wer auf Rat hört. (Spr 3,7; Spr 13,10) 16 Ein Tor zeigt^[3] seinen Unmut auf der Stelle ein Kluger aber steckt eine Schmähung ein. (Spr 29,11) 17 Wer die Wahrheit spricht, sagt, was recht ist, ein falscher Zeuge aber betrügt. (Spr 6,19) 18 Mancher Schwätzer verletzt wie ein Schwert, die Zunge der Weisen aber bringt Heilung. (Ps 3,8; Ps 57,5) 19 Wahrhaftige Lippen haben für immer Bestand, eine falsche Zunge aber nur für einen Augenblick. 20 Betrug ist im Herzen derer, die Böses planen, aber wer zum Frieden rät, wird Freude erfahren. (Spr 26,24; Mt 5,9) 21 Dem Gerechten widerfährt kein Unheil, aber die Frevler trifft das Unglück voll. (Spr 11,21) 22 Lügnerische Lippen verabscheut der HERR, wer aber für die Wahrheit eintritt, gefällt ihm. (Spr 6,17; Spr 11,20) 23 Ein kluger Mensch verbirgt sein Wissen, das Herz der Dummen aber schreit die Torheit hinaus. (Spr 10,19; Spr 13,16; Spr 18,2) 24 Die Hand der Fleissigen wird herrschen, die träge aber muss Frondienst tun. (Spr 6,11) 25 Sorge drückt das Herz eines Mannes nieder, ein gutes Wort aber erfreut es. (Spr 15,13; Spr 15,23; Spr 17,22) 26 Der Gerechte findet seine Weide, die Frevler aber führt ihr Weg in die Irre.^[4] (Spr 14,22) 27 Der Träge erjagt sich kein Wild, ein fleissiger Mensch aber gewinnt kostbares Gut. (Spr 10,4) 28 Auf dem Pfad der Gerechtigkeit ist Leben, der schändliche Weg aber führt zum Tod. (Spr 11,4)

1 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. 2 A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. 3 A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. 4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. 5 The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. 6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. 7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. 8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. 9 He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread. 10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. 11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. 12 The wicked desireth the net of evil men : but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit . 13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. 14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man' hands shall be rendered unto him. 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. 16 A fool' wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. 17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. 18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. 19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. 20 Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. 21 There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. 22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight. 23 A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness. 24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. 25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. 26 The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them. 27 The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious. 28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
