1Gott sagt: „Hört mal gut zu, Leute von Israel! Das betrifft alle, die für mich leben. Ich habe euch ja extra als meine Mitarbeiter ausgesucht!2Folgendes sage ich, euer Gott. Der Gott, der euch mal gemacht hat, der euch wie ein Stück Knetmasse geformt hat, als ihr noch im Bauch von eurer Mutter wart, und der euch immer helfen wird: Du brauchst keine Angst zu haben! Du gehörst zu mir, Familie von Israel. Du bist etwas ganz Besonderes für mich, ich habe dich extra als meinen Mitarbeiter ausgesucht!3Ich werde es regnen lassen, auf ein Land, wo alles trocken ist. Ich werde ganz viel Wasser ausschütten über diejenigen, die Durst haben. Ich werde meine Kraft ausschütten auf meine Kinder, meinen Geist werde ich in sie reingießen.4Sie werden aufgehen wie eine Blume in einer Vase, sie werden wachsen wie Gras nach einem Regen, wie Birken, die an einem Fluss stehen.“5Dann werden viele Leute plötzlich sagen: „Ich gehöre zu Gott!“ Und andere sagen: „Ich gehöre zu den Israeliten!“ Einige werden sich auf die Hände „Eigentum von Gott“ tätowieren. Andere werden sich den zusätzlichen Namen „Israel“ in ihren Pass eintragen lassen.
Israel kann sich auf seinen Gott verlassen
6Das kommt jetzt von Gott, dem Chef von Israel, der seine Leute immer wieder raushaut, der Chef über diese Welt. Er sagt: „Ich bin der Erste, der da war, und ich werde der Letzte sein, der da sein wird. Es gibt keinen anderen Gott, ich bin der einzige!“7Wer kann es mit mir aufnehmen, mit wem sollte ich mich vergleichen? Ich spreche etwas aus, und es wird Realität. Wer hat schon immer gewusst, was alles passieren wird, und es auch gesagt? Raus damit, wenn es noch jemanden gibt, der soll es sagen!8An die Leute von Israel: „Keine Panik! Lasst euch nicht verwirren! Hab ich euch nicht schon vor Ewigkeiten gesagt, was jetzt gerade passiert? Ihr seid Zeugen, ihr könnt es beweisen. Gibt es noch einen anderen Gott außer mir? Gibt es noch etwas anderes, auf das man sein Leben sicher bauen kann? Wohl kaum, ich hab noch nie davon gehört!“
Plastikgötter bringen es nicht
9Die Typen, die sich irgendwelche Plastikgötter basteln, sind total verpeilt, die bringen es nicht. Genauso wenig, wie diese Figuren selbst irgendwas bringen können. Wenn man die Leute fragt, was für Wunder so ein Plastikgott für sie schon getan hat, dann kommt nur heiße Luft. Sie raffen es einfach nicht, dass ihre tollen Lieblinge einfach nur total peinlich sind.10Wie kann jemand nur so beknackt sein, sich so einen Plastikgott zu basteln, der es am Ende doch nicht bringt?11Die Leute, die zu so was beten, werden am Ende alle kaputtgehen. Die Künstler, die so was herstellen, sind ja auch nur ganz normale Menschen. Sie sollten sich mal alle treffen und das Ganze austesten. Es würde nur peinlich für sie werden, denn da kommt nichts bei rüber.12Der Handwerker nimmt ein Stück Eisen und bearbeitet es. Er formt es mit einem Hammer und feilt mit seinen starken Armen daran rum. Irgendwann kriegt er Kohldampf und hat auch keine Kraft mehr, und weil er kein Wasser getrunken hat, wird er müde.13Der Tischler nimmt sich ein Stück Holz und misst mit einem Zentimetermaß die Länge aus. Er zeichnet mit einem Bleistift die Form, die das Teil dann haben soll. Das soll mal aussehen wie ein Mann oder besser wie ein Supermann. Die Figur wird dann in irgendeinem Haus aufgestellt, und ab dann wohnt sie da.14Für das Holz sucht man sich eine schöne Buche aus oder eine dicke Eiche, die im Wald steht. Oder man nimmt eine Fichte, die im Regen schön groß gewachsen ist.15Mit diesem Holz macht der Mensch normal Feuer, um die Bude im Winter warm zu kriegen. Andere gebrauchen es auch fürs Lagerfeuer oder zum Grillen, um damit die Würstchen zu braten. Und den anderen Teil von dem Holz verarbeitet man dann zu einem Gott und betet zu dem, schmeißt sich vor dem auf den Boden und so. Ganz toll.16Die andere Hälfte verbrennt er also irgendwie. Noch mal: Mit dem einen Teil von dem Holz grillt er sich seine Steaks, macht sich Essen warm und haut sich damit die Wampe voll. Vielleicht verfeuert er auch etwas davon im Kamin, damit es nachts wärmer wird. Er sagt: „Hach, ist das nicht schön gemütlich, mit der warmen Glut und so?“17Und aus dem Rest macht er sich dann einen Gott!? Wenn der fertig ist, verbeugt er sich ganz tief vor ihm und redet mit dem sogar. Er sagt: „Gott, bitte hilf mir! Du bist doch mein Gott!“18Wie bescheuert ist das denn bitte?! Sie kapieren es einfach nicht, sie sind blind, als hätten sie Tomaten auf den Augen. Ihr Verstand ist ausgeschaltet, sie schnallen es einfach nicht.19Wer sich so einen Plastikgott macht, schaltet irgendwie sein Hirn nicht ein, bevor er das tut. Denn sonst müsste er doch kapieren, dass das nicht geht. Er müsste sich eigentlich sagen: „Hä? Die eine Hälfte vom Holz hab ich verbrannt, hab mir über der Glut ein Steak gegrillt und dadrin Stockbrot und Alukartoffeln fertig gemacht. Und aus der anderen Hälfte soll jetzt plötzlich ein Gott werden? Soll ich zu einem dummen Holzklotz beten, oder was?20Dann könnte ich ja gleich mit Holzkohle reden!“ Das wäre doch totaler Beschiss, er würde von seinen komischen Gedanken selbst verarscht. So wird er sein Leben nie retten können. Aber er ist nicht in der Lage, das zu erkennen, er kann sich nicht retten, er sagt nicht: „Was ich hier in der Hand halte, ist doch totaler Quatsch!“
Gott hat schon was getan
21Gott sagt zu seinen Leuten, zu der Familie von Israel: „Bitte vergesst nicht, dass ihr zu mir gehört, ihr seid meine Mitarbeiter! Ich habe euch gemacht, ihr seid für mich da. Ich werde euch niemals hängen lassen!22Den ganzen Mist, den du, Israel, gebaut hast, habe ich dir schon verziehen. Ich hab den Dreck weggewischt, er hat sich aufgelöst wie ein Nebel in der Sonne. Jetzt komm wieder zurück zu mir, ich werde dich befreien!“23In der anderen Dimension, im Himmel, da soll jetzt die Party abgehen. Überall auf der Erde soll man -feiern. Die Berge sollen auch feiern und auch der Wald und alle Bäume. Denn Gott hat Israel befreit und ihnen gezeigt, was er alles draufhat und wie gigantisch er ist.
Gott macht Geschichte
24Gott will dir noch was sagen. Er hat dich befreit, er hat dich aus dem Dreck rausgeholt, und er hat dich gekannt, schon als du noch im Bauch von deiner Mutter warst: „Ich bin Gott, ich mache alles, ich habe den Himmel gemacht, ich habe die Erde gemacht, ganz alleine, keiner musste mir dabei helfen.25Ich habe die Voraussagen der Esoteriker und Astrologen alt aussehen lassen, ich habe die Wahrsager lächerlich gemacht. Ich habe dafür gesorgt, dass die schlauen Menschen bei euch umdenken müssen, und ich hab gezeigt, dass ihr ganzes Wissen letztendlich für die Tonne ist.26Aber die Worte von meinem Mitarbeiter stimmen. Das, was er vorausgesagt hat, wird auch eintreffen, da sorg ich für. Der Plan, den er von mir hat, wird funktionieren. Er sagt über Jerusalem: ‚Hier soll man ab jetzt wieder wohnen können!‘ Und über die Städte von Juda sagt er: ‚Sie sollen wieder aufgebaut werden. Den ganzen Schrott, die zerstörte Stadt, werde ich wieder hochziehen!‘27Ich sage zum Meer: ‚Hör auf mit den Flutwellen, du musst jetzt austrocknen!‘28Und zu Kyrus sage ich: ‚Du bist mein Bodyguard, du musst auf meine Leute aufpassen. Alles, was ich dir sage, musst du tun. Du wirst befehlen: Jerusalem wird wieder aufgebaut! Der Tempel wird wieder hochgezogen!‘“

The Folly of Idolatry

The Lord Redeems Israel
