1Die Leute, die extra nach Ägypten latschen, um sich dort Hilfe zu holen, müssen echt aufpassen! Sie denken, weil Ägypten so eine fette Armee hat, mit vielen Panzern und Motorrädern, könnten die was reißen. Dabei ist denen der ganz besondere Gott von Israel völlig egal, und sie fragen ihn nichts.2Aber Gott ist nicht dumm. Er sorgt dafür, dass es denen bald dreckig geht, und er nimmt seine Drohungen nicht zurück. Ganz im Gegenteil wird er gegen diese Bande von Hooligans etwas unternehmen, und auch die Leute, die denen helfen, kriegen von ihm eins auf die Mütze.3Auch die Ägypter sind nur Menschen, sie sind nicht wie Gott. Ihre Panzer sind auch nur von Menschen gemacht worden, sie sind keine übermächtigen Maschinen. Gott braucht nur einmal seine Hand auszustrecken, dann fällt Ägypten auf die Fresse. Und Israel, das von ihnen beschützt wird, geht dann natürlich auch kaputt, und dann sind sie beide Schrott.4Gott hat mir Folgendes gesagt: „Ein Bär, egal, wie alt, verteidigt seine Beute. Und auch wenn man eine ganze Gruppe von Hirten zusammenruft, wird der Bär seinen Fang nicht so schnell rausrücken. Die können noch so viel rufen oder in die Hände klatschen, das beeindruckt den null. Genauso werde ich, Gott, der Oberbefehlshaber über die Armee des Himmels, auf den Berg Zion runterkommen und ihn verteidigen.5So, wie ein Toptorhüter auf seinen Kasten aufpasst, wie ein guter Verteidiger seinen Strafraum verteidigt, wie ein Vogel sein Nest beschützt, so werde ich, der Chef über die Armee des Himmels, auf Jerusalem aufpassen. Ich werde es beschützen und retten, ich werde darauf aufpassen und es befreien.“6Dreht um, Leute von Israel! Kommt zurück zu eurem Gott! Ihr seid schon viel zu weit von ihm entfernt.7An diesem Tag, wo das passiert, wird jeder von euch seine ganzen Plastikgötter auf den Müll schmeißen. Die Teile aus Gold und Silber, die ihr euch selbst gebastelt habt, schmeißt ihr auf den Schrott. Dass ihr euch die gemacht habt, war ganz großer Mist!8Gott sagt: „Assyrien wird kaputtgehen! Sie werden im Krieg vernichtet! Aber dieser Krieg wird nicht mit Waffen von Menschen geführt werden. Sie werden alle fliehen, und die jungen Soldaten werden dann alle zur Zwangsarbeit verknackt.9Ihr starker Präsident wird vor Panik wie gelähmt sein, die Generäle verpissen sich und begehen Fahnenflucht!“ Diese Ansage kam von Gott, der sein Lagerfeuer auf dem Zionsberg angezündet hat und auch in Jerusalem einen Ofen stehen hat.
