1Gott wird den Israeliten noch eine Chance geben. Weil er sie so sehr liebt, wird er sie noch einmal auswählen. Er wird sie in sein Land zurückbringen. Ausländer werden Asyl bei ihnen beantragen und es bekommen.2Andere Völker werden da sein und ihnen helfen, wieder nach Hause zu kommen. Sobald sie da sind, werden die Israeliten diese Leute einstellen, und die werden für sie arbeiten. Die Leute, von denen die Israeliten damals verknackt wurden, werden jetzt selbst verknackt. Wer früher über Israel das Sagen hatte, wird dann von ihnen beherrscht werden.3Gott wird Israel befreien! Er wird dafür sorgen, dass sie endlich Frieden haben nach dem ganzen Ätzkram und dem Ärger, den sie durchmachen mussten, weil man sie dazu gezwungen hat.4Israel wird am Tag der Befreiung ein Lied singen, in dem über den Präsidenten von Babylonien abgelästert wird: „Der Typ, der uns fertiggemacht hat, ist jetzt selbst am Boden. Wegen seinem ständigen Druck kriegt er heute auf die Hoden.5Gott hat die Macht der Menschen gebrochen. Die ohne ihn regieren, kommen jetzt angekrochen.6Ohne Ende hat er die Völker geschlagen, Nationen einfach eins übergebraten.7Jetzt ist es peacig auf der Erde, alles freut sich,8auch der Fliederbaum freut sich über dich. Genauso die Zedern aus dem Libanon sagen:,Hey, was macht das schon: Seitdem du da bist, haben wir Schonfrist.‘9In der Hölle geht gerade der Punk ab. Man macht sich klar, weil du dich angekündigt hast. Die Toten werden deinetwegen aufgeweckt, die Herrscher, denen man früher die Füße hat geleckt. Es erschrecken die Präsidenten, und die Völker sind voll Entsetzen. Alle springen auf von ihren erhabenen Plätzen.10Alle fangen an, das Gleiche zu dir zu sagen: ‚Du bist genauso fertig wie wir, die sich hier plagen!‘11Mitgestorben ist auch deine ganze Pracht, deine E-Gitarre, der Sound haben hier keine Macht. Deine Matratze besteht aus weißen Maden, die Würmer an der Decke schlagen auch auf den Magen.12Wie konnte das passieren, dass ein Star so gestürzt ist? Früher warst du mal ein General, der Nationen zu Boden riss.13Du hattest dir ganz fest vorgenommen: ‚Ich werde bis ganz nach oben kommen! Ich werde dort oben mir einen Chefsessel hinstellen, ich will ganz nach oben, dort kann mich niemand mehr prellen. Ganz im Norden setz ich mich auf den Berg,14ich will mein Büro über den Wolken, ganz derb. Dort oben bin ich auf einer Stufe mit Gott!‘15Doch Gott machte die Idee gleich zu Schrott, Du wurdest nach unten in die Unterwelt gestoßen, wo die Toten und ihre Freunde wohnen.16Die Leute, die dich ansehen, sie checken dich ab:,Ist das der Mann, der ganze Länder hielt auf Trab? Der mit seiner Macht die Erde zum Beben brachte? Der viele Präsidenten zu Kleinholz machte?17Hat der nicht auf die ganze Welt geschissen? War er es, der die Städte niedergerissen? Hat er nie einen Gefangenen entlassen?‘18Beim Grab der Präsidenten ging’s „Hoch die Tassen“, ihr Begräbnis wurde respektvoll gehalten.19Dein Sarg liegt aber bei den Müllanstalten. Wie ’n alter Besenstiel, wie ’ne vergammelte Ratte, auf der man rumtritt, wie auf ’ner Fußmatte. Über dir liegen noch tote Soldaten.20Aber du wirst nicht wie die anderen Toten begraben, du kriegst weder Grabmal noch eine Gruft, hast dein Land volle Kanne an die Wand gefahren, dein eigenes Volk umgebracht, du mieser, elender Schuft. Du und deine Familie, ihr brachtet nur Tod und Verderben, drum sollt ihr für immer vergessen werden.21Die Söhne vom Präsidenten sollen auch sterben. Sie müssen bezahlen für den Mist ihrer Eltern, sie sollten nicht noch mal die Erde bevölkern. Auch aus den Städten sollen sie sich raushalten.22,Ich werde mich nicht lange mit ihnen aufhalten, ich mach sie kaputt‘, so sagt es der Chef,,Babylon mach ich fertig, den ganzen Überrest. Keine Kinder bekommen sie ab jetzt, ratzfatz.23Ich mach aus Babylon einen Müllplatz. Dort wohnen nur Ratten, ich werde dort alles räumen, werde es ausfegen mit dem Besen der Alpträume. Diese Ansage kam von dem gigantischen Gott, dem Chef über die Armeen aus dem Himmels-Pott.‘“
Assyrien wird kaputt gemacht
24Gott hat sich eins ganz fest vorgenommen: „Es bleibt dabei: Was ich mal gesagt habe, zieh ich auch durch. Was ich beschlossen hab, wird auch gemacht.25Ich zerstöre die Macht von Assyrien. Ich werde sie plattmachen, auf sie treten, auf die Assyrer, die auf meinem Land und meinen Bergen sind. Dann werden sie meine Leute nicht mehr länger zu allen möglichen Sachen zwingen können. Diese Belastung wird von ihnen genommen.“26Das hat Gott so beschlossen, und dieser Beschluss gilt für alle. Er bestraft jedes Volk.27Wenn Gott sich etwas in den Kopf gesetzt hat, wer soll ihn davon abbringen können? Wenn er mit seiner Hand ausholt, wer sollte dazwischengehen?
Die Philister kriegen eins auf die Mütze
28In dem Jahr, als der Präsident Ahas krepierte, bekam Jesaja folgende Botschaft von Gott rein:29„Das geht jetzt an alle Philister. Ihr denkt wohl, der Typ, der euch ständig kaputt gemacht hat, ist jetzt weg. Aber freut euch nicht zu früh! Denn aus dieser Familie werden noch schlimmere Präsidenten hervorgehen. Wenn dieser Präsident wie eine kleine Giftschlange war, dann wird der nächste eine große Giftschlange werden, und der dann folgt, wird wie ein Monster sein.30Zwar werden die Leute in Israel, die total pleite sind, immer genug zu essen haben, und auch den Hartz- IV -Empfängern wird nichts passieren. Aber deine Leute werden so wenig zu essen haben, dass sie verhungern. Und wer von ihnen übrig bleibt, wird umgebracht.31Heult nur rum, ihr Idioten! In der Stadt können von mir aus alle ganz laut ‚Hilfe‘ schreien. Gebt endlich auf, ihr Philister! Denn man kann schon von Norden her die Staubwolke sehen, die anzeigt, dass da gerade eine ganz fette Armee kommt. Vor denen wird keiner entkommen können.32Und was soll man den Philistern antworten, wenn sie eine Anfrage starten? Wie wäre es mit: ‚Gott selbst hat das Fundament von der Stadt Zion gegossen! In diese Stadt können seine Leute fliehen und sich dort schützen!‘?“

Israel’s Remnant Taunts Babylon
