1 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.[1] (Çık 34:5; Mez 113:4; Mez 148:13; Yşa 12:4) 2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. (Mez 44:16; Yer 16:19; Mat 11:25; Mat 21:16; 1 Ko 1:27) 3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, (Yar 1:16; Çık 8:19; Çık 31:18; Mez 111:2) 4 what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? (Yar 8:1; Yar 21:1; Yar 50:24; Eyü 7:17; Eyü 25:6; Mez 65:9; Mez 80:17; Mez 144:3; İbr 2:6) 5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings[2] and crowned him with glory and honor. (Yar 1:26; Mez 21:5) 6 You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, (Yar 1:26; Yar 1:28; Mat 28:18; 1 Ko 15:27) 7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
