1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel. (Mez 4:1; Mez 48:3; Mez 50:1) 2 His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. (Yar 14:18; Mez 9:11; Mez 27:5; Mez 74:2; Ağı 2:6) 3 There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. (Mez 46:9; Hez 39:9) 4 Glorious are you, more majestic than the mountains full of prey. (Yşa 14:25; Hez 39:4; Nah 2:13) 5 The stouthearted were stripped of their spoil; they sank into sleep; all the men of war were unable to use their hands. (2 Kr 19:35; Mez 13:3; Yşa 46:12; Yer 51:39; Nah 3:18) 6 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both rider and horse lay stunned. (Çık 15:1; Çık 15:21) 7 But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?
