Mezmur 52

Kutsal Kitap Yeni Çeviri

Turkish Bible Society'dan
1-2 Niçin kötülüğünle böbürlenirsin, ey kabadayı, Tanrı'nın sadık kullarına karşı Bütün gün dilin yıkım tasarlar Keskin ustura gibi, ey hilekâr. 3 İyilikten çok kötülüğü, Doğru konuşmaktan çok yalanı seversin. Sela 4 Seni hileli dil seni! Her yıkıcı sözü seversin. 5 Ama Tanrı seni sonsuza dek yıkacak, Seni kapıp çadırından fırlatacak, Yaşam diyarından kökünü sökecek. Sela 6 Doğrular bunu görünce korkacak, Gülerek şöyle diyecekler: 7 ‹‹İşte bu adam, Tanrı'ya sığınmak istemedi, Servetinin bolluğuna güvendi, Başkalarını yıkarak güçlendi!›› 8 Ama ben Tanrı'nın evinde yeşeren zeytin ağacı gibiyim, Sonsuza dek Tanrı'nın sevgisine güvenirim. 9 Sürekli sana şükrederim yaptıkların için, Sadık kullarının önünde umut bağlarım, Çünkü adın iyidir.

Mezmur 52

English Standard Version

Crossway'dan
1 Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day.[1] 2 Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit. (Mez 50:19; Mez 57:4; Mez 101:7) 3 You love evil more than good, and lying more than speaking what is right. Selah (Yer 9:4; Yer 9:5) 4 You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue. 5 But God will break you down forever; he will snatch and tear you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah (Mez 27:13; Özd 2:22) 6 The righteous shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying, (Mez 2:4; Mez 40:3) 7 “See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction!”[2] (Mez 49:6) 8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. (Mez 1:3; Mez 37:35; Mez 92:12; Mez 92:13; Mez 128:3; Mez 144:12; Yer 11:16; Hoş 14:6) 9 I will thank you forever, because you have done it. I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly. (Mez 50:5; Mez 54:6)
