Güneş için göklerde çadır kurdu Tanrı. 5 Gerdekten çıkan güveye benzer güneş, Koşuya çıkacak atlet gibi sevinir. 6 Göğün bir ucundan çıkar, Öbür ucuna döner, Hiçbir şey gizlenmez sıcaklığından. 7 RAB'bin yasası yetkindir, cana can katar, RAB'bin buyrukları güvenilirdir, Saf adama bilgelik verir, 8 RAB'bin kuralları doğrudur, yüreği sevindirir, RAB'bin buyrukları arıdır, gözleri aydınlatır. 9 RAB korkusu paktır, sonsuza dek kalır, RAB'bin ilkeleri gerçek, tamamen adildir. 10 Onlara altından, bol miktarda saf altından çok istek duyulur, Onlar baldan, süzme petek balından tatlıdır. 11 Uyarırlar kulunu, Onlara uyanların ödülü büyüktür. 12 Kim yanlışlarını görebilir? Bağışla göremediğim kusurlarımı, 13 Bilerek işlenen günahlardan koru kulunu, İzin verme bana egemen olmalarına! O zaman büyük isyandan uzak, Kusursuz olurum. 14 Ağzımdan çıkan sözler, Yüreğimdeki düşünceler, Kabul görsün senin önünde, Ya RAB, kayam, kurtarıcım benim[1]!

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above[1] proclaims his handiwork. (Mez 50:6; Rom 1:19) 2 Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 4 Their voice[2] goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, (Vai 1:5; Yşa 28:10; Rom 10:18) 5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. (Hak 5:31; Yoe 2:16) 6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat. 7 The law of the Lord is perfect,[3] reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; (Çık 25:16; Mez 23:3; Mez 78:5; Mez 111:7; Mez 119:130; Özd 1:4; Mat 11:25; Rom 7:12; 1 Ko 1:27; 2 Ti 3:15; 2 Ti 3:16) 8 the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; (Mez 12:6; Mez 13:3; Mez 103:18; Mez 111:7; Mez 119:4; Mez 119:27) 9 the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules[4] of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. (Mez 119:142; Mez 119:151; Mez 119:160) 10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. (Özd 29:18) 12 Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
