Mezmur 122

English Standard Version

Crossway'dan
1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” (Yşa 2:3; Mik 4:2; Zek 8:21) 2 Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! 3 Jerusalem— built as a city that is bound firmly together, (Neh 4:6; Mez 147:2) 4 to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as was decreed for[1] Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. (Yas 16:16; Mez 78:5) 5 There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David. (Yas 17:8; 2 Sa 15:2; 1 Kr 3:16; 1 Kr 7:7; 2 Ta 19:8) 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! (Mez 51:18; Yer 29:7) 7 Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” (Mez 48:13) 8 For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” (1 Sa 25:6; Mez 85:8) 9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good. (Neh 2:10; Est 10:3)
