1 Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! (Mez 34:22; Mez 69:36; Mez 102:28; Mez 104:35; Mez 135:1) 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! (Eyü 1:21; Mez 115:18) 3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! (Mez 18:3; Mez 48:10; Mez 50:1; Yşa 59:19; Mal 1:11) 4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! (Mez 8:1; Mez 57:5; Mez 57:11; Mez 99:2; Mez 148:13) 5 Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high, (Mez 35:10) 6 who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? (Mez 11:4; Mez 138:6) 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, (Mez 107:41; Mez 136:23) 8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people.
