1 Ein Psalm Davids. HERR, wer darf in dein Heiligtum kommen und dich auf dem heiligen Berg anbeten? (Ps 24,3; Ps 27,5) 2 Ein Mensch, der ein vorbildliches Leben führt und tut, was recht ist, und von Herzen die Wahrheit sagt. (Ps 24,4; Eph 4,25) 3 Ein Mensch, der niemanden verleumdet, der einem anderen kein Unrecht zufügt und nicht schlecht von ihm spricht. (2Mo 23,1; Ps 28,3) 4 Ein Mensch, der jene verachtet, die Gott verworfen hat, der aber die Gottesfürchtigen ehrt und seine Versprechen hält, auch wenn es ihm schadet. (Ri 11,35; Apg 28,10) 5 Ein Mensch, der keine Zinsen für verliehenes Geld fordert und sich nicht durch Bestechung dazu bewegen lässt, gegen Unschuldige auszusagen. Wer so handelt, steht für immer auf sicherem Grund. (2Mo 22,24; 2Mo 23,8; 5Mo 16,19)

1 LORD, who can live in your sacred tent? Who can stay on your holy mountain? 2 Anyone who lives without blame and does what is right. They speak the truth from their heart. 3 They don’t tell lies about other people. They don’t do wrong to their neighbours. They don’t say anything bad about them. 4 They hate evil people. But they honour those who have respect for the LORD. They keep their promises even when it hurts. They do not change their mind. 5 They lend their money to poor people without charging interest. They don’t accept money to harm those who aren’t guilty. Anyone who lives like that will always be secure.
