1 Hallelujah! Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied, sein Lob in der Gemeinde der Getreuen! (Ps 33,3; Ps 40,10; Ps 89,6; Ps 96,1; Ps 98,1; Ps 105,45; Ps 111,1; Ps 144,9; Ps 148,1; Ps 150,1; Jes 42,10) 2 Israel freue sich an seinem Schöpfer, die Kinder Zions sollen jubeln über ihren König! (Ps 100,2; Pred 12,1; Zef 3,14; Sach 9,9; 1Petr 4,19) 3 Sie sollen seinen Namen loben im Reigen, mit Tamburin und Laute ihm lobsingen! (2Mo 15,20; Ps 81,3; Ps 87,7; Ps 150,4) 4 Denn der HERR hat Wohlgefallen an seinem Volk; er schmückt die Elenden mit Heil. (Ps 27,1; Ps 27,9; Ps 132,16; Spr 11,20; Jes 61,10; Jes 62,4) 5 Die Getreuen sollen frohlocken in Herrlichkeit, sie sollen jauchzen auf ihren Lagern. (1Sam 4,5; Hi 35,10; Ps 98,4; Röm 5,2; Kol 1,27) 6 Das Lob Gottes sei in ihrem Mund und ein zweischneidiges Schwert in ihrer Hand, (2Chr 20,21; Ps 34,2; Ps 45,4; Jes 49,2; Hebr 4,12; Offb 1,16) 7 um Rache zu üben an den Heidenvölkern, Strafe an den Nationen, (Mi 4,13; Sach 9,13) 8 um ihre Könige mit Ketten zu binden und ihre Edlen mit Fußeisen, (Jos 10,23; Jos 12,7; Jes 45,14) 9 um das geschriebene Urteil an ihnen zu vollstrecken. Das ist eine Ehre für alle seine Getreuen. Hallelujah! (5Mo 32,41; Ps 30,5; Ps 148,14; Ps 149,1; Ps 149,5)

1 Halleluja! Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied. Singt sein Lob in der Versammlung der Gläubigen. (Ps 33,3; Ps 89,6) 2 Israel, freue dich an deinem Schöpfer. Ihr Einwohner Jerusalems[1], jubelt über euren König. (Ri 8,23; Ps 47,7) 3 Lobt seinen Namen beim Tanz und spielt für ihn mit Tamburin und Harfe. (2Mo 15,20) 4 Denn der HERR freut sich über sein Volk; er krönt die Demütigen mit seiner Hilfe. (Ps 35,27) 5 Die ihm vertrauen, sollen sich an seiner Herrlichkeit freuen. Sie sollen vor Freude singen, wenn sie sich schlafen legen. (Hi 35,10; Ps 32,11) 6 Sie sollen Gott mit ihrem Mund loben und ein scharfes Schwert in den Händen halten, (Ps 66,17) 7 um an den Völkern Rache zu nehmen und die Menschen zu strafen, 8 um ihre Könige in Ketten zu legen und ihre Anführer in Eisen, (Nah 3,10) 9 um das Gericht zu vollziehen, das für sie bestimmt ist. Das ist eine Ehre für alle, die Gott vertrauen. Halleluja! (Ps 148,14; Hes 28,26)

1 Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! (Ps 33,3; Ps 89,5; Ps 89,7; Ps 148,14) 2 Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! (1Sam 12,12; Hi 35,10; Ps 85,6; Ps 95,6; Sach 9,9) 3 Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! (2Mo 15,20; Ps 30,11; Ps 150,3; Ps 150,4) 4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. (Ps 35,27; Ps 147,11; Jes 61,3) 5 Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. (Hi 35,10; Ps 4,4; Ps 63,6; Hos 7,14) 6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, (Ps 66,17; Spr 5,4; Hebr 4,12; Offb 1,16; Offb 2,12) 7 to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, 8 to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, (Hi 36,8) 9 to execute on them the judgment written! 1 Praise the LORD. Sing a new song to the LORD. Sing praise to him in the assembly of his faithful people. 2 Let Israel be filled with joy because God is their Maker. Let the people of Zion be glad because he is their King. 3 Let them praise his name with dancing. Let them make music to him with harps and tambourines. 4 The LORD takes delight in his people. He awards with victory those who are humble. 5 Let his faithful people be filled with joy because of that honour. Let them sing for joy even when they are lying in bed. 6 May they praise God with their mouths. May they hold in their hands a sword that has two edges. 7 Let them pay the nations back. Let them punish the people of the earth. 8 Let them put the kings of those nations in chains. Let them put their nobles in iron chains. 9 Let them carry out God’s sentence against those nations. This will bring glory to all his faithful people. Praise the LORD.
