1Und du sollst einen Altar[1] aus Akazienholz herstellen, 5 Ellen lang und 5 Ellen breit; viereckig soll der Altar sein und 3 Ellen hoch. (2Mo 38,1; 2Chr 4,1; Est 3,2; Hes 43,13; Hebr 13,10)2Und bringe die zu ihm gehörenden Hörner an seinen vier Ecken an; seine Hörner sollen aus einem Stück mit ihm sein, und du sollst ihn mit Erz überziehen. Alle seine Geräte sollst du aus Erz machen. (1Kön 7,45)4Mache für ihn auch ein ehernes Gitter wie ein Netz, und befestige an dem Gitter vier eherne Ringe an seinen vier Ecken; (2Mo 35,16; 2Mo 38,4)5und setze es unter die Einfassung des Altars, von unten her, sodass das Gitter bis zur halben Höhe des Altars reicht. (2Mo 38,4)6Und fertige Tragstangen für den Altar an, Stangen aus Akazienholz, mit Erz überzogen. (2Mo 38,6)7Und stecke die Tragstangen in die Ringe, sodass die Stangen an beiden Seiten des Altars sind, damit man ihn tragen kann.8Aus Brettern sollst du ihn herstellen, sodass er inwendig hohl ist; wie es dir auf dem Berg gezeigt worden ist, so soll man ihn herstellen. (2Mo 38,7)
Der Vorhof und der Eingang
9Du sollst der Wohnung auch einen Vorhof anfertigen: auf der Südseite Behänge aus gezwirntem Leinen, 100 Ellen lang, auf der einen Seite, (2Mo 38,9; 2Chr 4,9; Ps 84,11; Ps 100,4; Hes 40,17)10und 20 Säulen auf 20 ehernen Füßen und die Haken der Säulen mit ihren Verbindungsstäben aus Silber. (2Mo 38,10)11Und auch auf der Längsseite nach Norden sollen Behänge sein, 100 Ellen lang, und 20 Säulen auf 20 ehernen Füßen und die Haken der Säulen mit ihren Verbindungsstäben aus Silber. (2Mo 38,11)12Aber auf der Breitseite nach Westen sollen die Behänge des Vorhofs 50 Ellen betragen; und es sollen zehn Säulen auf zehn Füßen sein; (2Mo 38,12)13und auf der Breitseite des Vorhofs nach Osten zu 50 Ellen; (2Mo 38,13)14und zwar sollen 15 Ellen Behänge auf die eine Seite kommen, dazu drei Säulen auf drei Füßen; (2Mo 27,9)15und 15 Ellen Behänge auf die andere Seite, dazu drei Säulen auf drei Füßen. (2Mo 38,14)16Am Eingang des Vorhofs aber soll ein Vorhang sein, 20 Ellen lang, aus [Garnen von] blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin und gezwirntem Leinen in Buntwirkerarbeit, dazu vier Säulen auf ihren Füßen. (2Mo 38,18)17Alle Säulen um den Vorhof her sollen silberne Verbindungsstäbe und silberne Haken und eherne Füße haben. (2Mo 38,17)18Und die Länge des Vorhofs soll 100 Ellen betragen, die Breite 50 Ellen, die Höhe 5 Ellen; [die Behänge] sollen aus gezwirntem Leinen und die Füße [der Säulen] aus Erz sein. (2Mo 27,9)19Auch alle Geräte der Wohnung für den gesamten Dienst in ihr und alle ihre Pflöcke und alle Pflöcke des Vorhofs sollen aus Erz sein. (2Mo 27,3)
Das Öl für den Leuchter
20Und du sollst den Kindern Israels gebieten, dass sie dir reines Öl aus zerstoßenen Oliven für den Leuchter bringen, damit beständig Licht unterhalten werden kann.21In der Stiftshütte[2], außerhalb des Vorhangs, der vor dem Zeugnis hängt, sollen Aaron und seine Söhne es zurichten, vom Abend bis zum Morgen, vor dem HERRN. Das ist eine ewige Ordnung, die von den Kindern Israels eingehalten werden soll bei ihren [künftigen] Geschlechtern. (2Mo 28,43; 2Mo 29,9; 2Mo 30,7; 3Mo 3,17; 3Mo 6,11; 3Mo 16,34; 3Mo 24,3; 3Mo 24,9; 4Mo 18,23; 4Mo 19,21; 1Sam 3,3; 2Chr 13,11)
1Nimm Akazienholz und bau daraus einen Altar, fünf Ellen breit, fünf Ellen lang und drei Ellen hoch[1]. (2Mo 38,1)2Fertige an jeder der vier Ecken des Altars ein Horn, das mit dem Altar aus einem Stück hergestellt ist. Überziehe dann den Altar mit Bronze. (2Mo 29,12; 3Mo 4,7)3Die Aschebehälter, Schaufeln, Becken, Fleischgabeln und Feuerpfannen sollst du ebenfalls aus Bronze herstellen. (4Mo 4,14)4Fertige ein netzartiges Gitter aus Bronze für den Altar an und befestige an allen vier Ecken des Gitters einen bronzenen Ring.5Bring das Gitter unterhalb der Einfassung des Altars auf halber Höhe an.6Fertige dann Stangen aus Akazienholz an und überziehe sie mit Bronze. (2Mo 25,13)7Die Stangen sollen durch die Ringe an beiden Seiten des Altars gesteckt werden, wenn man ihn trägt.8Der Altar soll innen hohl sein, aus Brettern gefertigt. Lass ihn genauso bauen, wie ich es dir auf dem Berg gezeigt habe. (2Mo 25,40; 2Mo 26,30)
Der Vorhof
9Den Vorhof des Heiligtums sollst du mit Vorhängen aus feinem Leinen abgrenzen. Auf der Südseite soll sich die Abgrenzung über 100 Ellen[2] erstrecken. (2Mo 38,1)10Die Vorhänge sollen mit silbernen Haken und Stangen an 20 Säulen angebracht werden, die auf 20 bronzenen Sockeln stehen. (2Mo 38,17)11Genauso soll es auf der Nordseite des Vorhofs sein – Vorhänge auf einer Länge von 100 Ellen[3], gehalten von 20 mit silbernen Haken und Stäben versehenen Säulen, die auf bronzenen Sockeln stehen.12Auf der Westseite des Vorhofs sind Vorhänge mit einer Länge von 50 Ellen[4] erforderlich, dazu zehn Säulen und zehn Sockel.13Die Ostseite soll ebenfalls 50 Ellen lang sein.14Rechts vom Eingang soll ein Vorhang von 15 Ellen[5] Breite hängen, der von drei Säulen auf drei Sockeln gehalten wird. (2Mo 38,15)15Der Vorhang auf der linken Seite soll ebenfalls 15 Ellen breit sein und von drei Säulen auf drei Sockeln gehalten werden.16Für den Eingang des Vorhofs sollt ihr einen 20 Ellen[6] breiten Vorhang anfertigen. Webt ihn mit kunstvollen Mustern aus feinem Leinen und violettem, purpur- und karmesinfarbenem Garn. Er soll an vier Säulen befestigt werden, die auf vier Sockeln stehen. (2Mo 36,37)17Alle Säulen im Vorhof sollen auf Sockeln aus Bronze stehen und mit silbernen Stäben und silbernen Haken versehen sein.18Der Vorhof soll 100 Ellen lang, 50 Ellen breit und fünf Ellen hoch[7] sein. Die Vorhänge sollen aus feinem Leinen und die Sockel aus Bronze sein.19Sämtliche Gegenstände, die für den Dienst im Heiligtum gebraucht werden, einschließlich der Zeltpflöcke des Heiligtums und des Vorhofs, sollen aus Bronze sein.20Richte den Israeliten aus, sie sollen dir reines Öl aus zerstoßenen Oliven für den Leuchter bringen, damit seine Lampen ständig brennen. (3Mo 24,1; Sach 4,11)21Der Leuchter soll außerhalb des Vorhangs, hinter dem die Bundeslade steht, aufgestellt werden. Aaron und seine Söhne sollen dafür sorgen, dass die Lampen im heiligen Zelt vom Abend bis zum Morgen vor dem HERRN brennen. Diese Anordnung gilt für euch und eure Nachkommen für immer. (2Mo 25,22; 3Mo 3,17; 3Mo 16,34)

As it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made. (2Mo 25,40)
The Court of the Tabernacle
9“You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side. (2Mo 38,9)10Its twenty pillars and their twenty bases shall be of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.11And likewise for its length on the north side there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, its pillars twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.12And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings for fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases.13The breadth of the court on the front to the east shall be fifty cubits.14The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases.15On the other side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases.16For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. It shall have four pillars and with them four bases. (2Mo 26,36)17All the pillars around the court shall be filleted with silver. Their hooks shall be of silver, and their bases of bronze.18The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, the breadth fifty, and the height five cubits, with hangings of fine twined linen and bases of bronze.19All the utensils of the tabernacle for every use, and all its pegs and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.
Oil for the Lamp
20“You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn. (3Mo 24,1)21In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel. (2Mo 25,22; 2Mo 26,31; 2Mo 29,42; 2Mo 30,36)
1‘Build an altar out of acacia wood. It must be 1.5 metres high and 2.5 metres square.2Make a horn stick out from each of its upper four corners. The horns and the altar must be all one piece. Cover the altar with bronze.3Make everything for the altar out of bronze. Make its pots to remove the ashes. Make its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks, and pans for carrying ashes.4Make a bronze grate for the altar. Make a bronze ring for each of the four corners of the grate.5Put the grate halfway up the altar on the inside.6Make poles out of acacia wood for the altar. Cover them with bronze.7Put the poles through the rings. They will be on two sides of the altar for carrying it.8Make the altar out of boards. Leave it hollow. It must look just like what I showed you on the mountain.
The courtyard
9‘Make a courtyard for the holy tent. The south side must be 50 metres long. It must have curtains that are made out of finely twisted linen.10The curtains must be hung on 20 posts that have 20 bronze bases. The posts must have silver hooks and bands on them.11The north side must also be about 50 metres long. It must have curtains with 20 posts that have 20 bronze bases. The posts must have silver hooks and bands on them.12‘The west end of the courtyard must be 25 metres wide. It must have curtains with ten posts that have ten bases.13The east end of the courtyard, towards the sunrise, must also be 25 metres wide.14On one side of the entrance you must put curtains that are 7.5 metres long. Hang them on three posts. Each post must have a base.15On the other side you must also put curtains that are 7.5 metres long. Hang them on three posts. Each post must have a base.16‘For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain 10 metres long. Make it out of blue, purple and bright red yarn and finely twisted linen. Have someone who sews skilfully make it. Hang it on four posts. Each post must have a base.17All the posts that are around the courtyard must have silver bands and hooks. They must also have bronze bases.18The courtyard must be 50 metres long and 25 metres wide. It must have curtains that are made out of finely twisted linen. They must be 2.5 metres high. The posts must have bronze bases.19Make out of bronze all the other things used for any purpose in the holy tent. That includes all the tent stakes for the tent and the courtyard.
Oil for the lampstand
20‘Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil made from pressed olives. Use it to keep the lamps burning and giving light.21Aaron and his sons must keep the lamps burning in the tent of meeting. The lamps will be outside the curtain in front of the tablets of the covenant law. The lamps must be kept burning in front of the LORD from evening until morning. This is a law for the Israelites that will last for all time to come.
