1 Ein Psalmlied, vorzusingen, beim Saitenspiel. 2 Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns, er lasse uns sein Antlitz leuchten, – Sela – (4Mo 6,24) 3 dass man auf Erden erkenne deinen Weg, unter allen Heiden dein Heil. 4 Es danken dir, Gott, die Völker, es danken dir alle Völker. 5 Die Völker freuen sich und jauchzen, dass du die Menschen recht richtest und regierst die Völker auf Erden. Ein Psalm. 2 Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns. / Er lasse sein Angesicht über uns leuchten. ♪ 3 So wird man deinen Weg auf der Erde erkennen, / unter allen Nationen dein Heil. 4 Die Völker sollen dich loben, Gott, / dich preisen die Völker insgesamt! 5 Nationen freuen sich und jubeln, / denn du richtest die Völker gerecht. / Du lenkst alle Nationen der Welt. ♪ 6 Die Völker sollen dich loben, Gott, / dich preisen die Völker insgesamt! 7 Die Erde gibt ihren Ertrag. / Es segnet uns Gott, unser Gott. 8 Gott wird uns segnen, / und fürchten wird ihn die ganze Welt.

May all the people on earth praise you. 4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy. You rule the people of the earth fairly. You guide the nations of the earth. 5 God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you. 6 The land produces its crops. God, our God, blesses us. 7 May God continue to bless us. Then people from one end of the earth to the other will have respect for him.
