1Wenn der HERR, dein Gott, die Heidenvölker ausrotten wird, deren Land der HERR, dein Gott, dir gibt, und du sie aus ihrem Besitz vertreibst und in ihren Städten und Häusern wohnst, (5Mo 9,1; 5Mo 12,29; Jos 24,13)2so sollst du dir drei Städte aussondern mitten in deinem Land, das der HERR, dein Gott, dir zu besitzen gibt. 14Du sollst die Grenze deines Nächsten nicht verrücken, welche die Vorfahren in deinem Erbteil gesetzt haben, das du in dem Land erben wirst, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, zum Besitz geben will. (2Mo 20,15; 5Mo 27,17; Hi 24,2; Spr 19,5; Spr 19,9; Spr 22,28; Spr 23,10; Hos 5,10)15Ein einzelner Zeuge soll nicht gegen jemand auftreten wegen irgendeiner Schuld oder wegen irgendeiner Sünde, mit der man sich versündigen kann; sondern auf der Aussage von zwei oder drei Zeugen soll jede Sache beruhen. Gegen falsches Zeugnis

Mindestzahl der Zeugen
15Wenn es um ein Verbrechen oder ein Vergehen geht, darf ein einzelner Belastungszeuge nicht Recht bekommen, welches Vergehen auch immer der Angeklagte begangen hat. Erst auf die Aussage von zwei oder drei Zeugen darf eine Sache Recht bekommen. (4Mo 35,30; 5Mo 17,6; Mt 18,16; Joh 8,17; 2Kor 13,1; 1Tim 5,19; Hebr 10,28)

Witnesses
15One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offence they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.16If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime,17the two people involved in the dispute must stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and the judges who are in office at the time.18The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite,19then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you.20The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you.21Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
