1Geliebte, glaubt nicht jedem Geist, sondern prüft die Geister, ob sie aus Gott sind! Denn es sind viele falsche Propheten in die Welt ausgegangen. (Jer 23,16; Mt 7,15; Mt 24,11; Apg 17,11; 2Kor 11,13; 1Thess 5,20; 1Tim 4,1; Offb 2,2)2Daran erkennt ihr den Geist Gottes: Jeder Geist, der bekennt, dass Jesus Christus im Fleisch gekommen ist, der ist aus Gott; (1Kor 12,3; 1Joh 4,9; 1Joh 5,1; 2Joh 1,9)3und jeder Geist, der nicht bekennt, dass Jesus Christus im Fleisch gekommen ist, der ist nicht aus Gott. Gottes Liebe zu uns und die Liebe zum Bruder
7Geliebte, lasst uns einander lieben! Denn die Liebe ist aus Gott, und jeder, der liebt, ist aus Gott geboren und erkennt Gott. (Joh 3,16; Joh 13,1; Joh 15,12; 2Kor 5,17; 2Kor 13,11; 1Thess 4,9; 1Joh 3,9; 1Joh 3,11; 1Joh 4,16; 1Joh 5,1)8Wer nicht liebt, der hat Gott nicht erkannt; denn Gott ist Liebe. (1Joh 2,28; 1Joh 3,2; 1Joh 3,19)18Furcht ist nicht in der Liebe, sondern die vollkommene Liebe treibt die Furcht aus, denn die Furcht hat mit Strafe zu tun; wer sich nun fürchtet, ist nicht vollkommen geworden in der Liebe.
