Die Auferstehung Jesu Christi

1 Nach dem Sabbat aber, als der erste Tag der Woche anbrach, kamen Maria Magdalena und die andere Maria, um das Grab zu besehen. (Mt 27,56; Mt 27,61; Lk 23,56) 2 Und siehe, es geschah ein großes Erdbeben, denn ein Engel des Herrn stieg vom Himmel herab, trat herzu, wälzte den Stein von dem Eingang hinweg und setzte sich darauf. (Mt 27,51; Hebr 12,26) 3 Sein Aussehen war wie der Blitz und sein Gewand weiß wie der Schnee. (Dan 7,9; Dan 10,6; Mk 9,3) 4 Vor seinem furchtbaren Anblick aber erbebten die Wächter und wurden wie tot. (Lk 2,9; Offb 1,17) 5 Der Engel aber wandte sich zu den Frauen und sprach: Fürchtet ihr euch nicht! Ich weiß wohl, dass ihr Jesus, den Gekreuzigten, sucht. (Lk 1,12; Lk 1,30; Hebr 1,14) 6 Er ist nicht hier, denn er ist auferstanden, wie er gesagt hat. Kommt her, seht den Ort, wo der Herr gelegen hat! (Mt 27,63; Mk 16,6; Lk 24,6; 1Kor 15,4; 1Kor 15,20)

7 Und geht schnell hin und sagt seinen Jüngern, dass er aus den Toten auferstanden ist. Und siehe, er geht euch voran nach Galiläa; dort werdet ihr ihn sehen. Siehe, ich habe es euch gesagt! (Lk 24,23) 8 Und sie gingen schnell zum Grab hinaus mit Furcht und großer Freude und liefen, um es seinen Jüngern zu verkünden. (Joh 20,20) 9 Und als sie gingen, um es seinen Jüngern zu verkünden, siehe, da begegnete ihnen Jesus und sprach: Seid gegrüßt! Sie aber traten herzu und umfassten seine Füße und beteten ihn an. (2Kön 4,27; Lk 24,52) 10 Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht! Geht hin, verkündet meinen Brüdern, dass sie nach Galiläa gehen sollen; dort werden sie mich sehen!

Die Bestechung der Kriegsknechte

11 Während sie aber hingingen, siehe, da kamen etliche von der Wache in die Stadt und verkündeten den obersten Priestern alles, was geschehen war. (Mt 27,65; Mt 28,4) 12 Diese versammelten sich samt den Ältesten, und nachdem sie Rat gehalten hatten, gaben sie den Kriegsknechten Geld genug (Joh 11,47; Apg 4,15) 13 und sprachen: Sagt, seine Jünger sind bei Nacht gekommen und haben ihn gestohlen, während wir schliefen. (Mt 27,64) 14 Und wenn dies vor den Statthalter kommt, so wollen wir ihn besänftigen und machen, dass ihr ohne Sorge sein könnt. 15 Sie aber nahmen das Geld und machten es so, wie sie belehrt worden waren. Und so wurde dieses Wort unter den Juden verbreitet bis zum heutigen Tag. (2Thess 2,10)

Der Auftrag an die Jünger

16 Die elf Jünger aber gingen nach Galiläa auf den Berg, wohin Jesus sie bestellt hatte. (Mt 26,32; Mt 28,10) 17 Und als sie ihn sahen, warfen sie sich anbetend vor ihm nieder; etliche aber zweifelten. Jésus est ressuscité !

1 Après le sabbat, comme le jour commençait à poindre le dimanche matin, Marie de Magdala et l’autre Marie se mirent en chemin pour aller voir la tombe. (Mk 16,1; Lk 24,1; Joh 20,1) 2 Tout à coup, voici qu’il y eut un violent tremblement de terre: un ange du Seigneur descendit du ciel, s’approcha de la tombe, roula la pierre de côté et s’assit sur elle. 3 Il avait l’apparence de l’éclair, et ses vêtements étaient aussi blancs que la neige. 4 Les gardes furent saisis d’épouvante: ils se mirent à trembler et devinrent comme morts. 5 Mais l’ange, s’adressant aux femmes, leur dit: Vous autres, n’ayez pas peur; je sais que vous cherchez Jésus, qui a été crucifié. 6 Il n’est plus ici, car il est ressuscité comme il l’avait dit. Venez voir l’endroit où il était couché. 7 Puis allez vite annoncer à ses disciples qu’il est ressuscité. Et voici: il vous précède en Galilée. Là vous le verrez. Voilà ce que j’avais à vous dire. 8 Elles quittèrent le tombeau en hâte, tout effrayées, mais en même temps remplies d’une grande joie, et elles coururent porter la nouvelle aux disciples. 9 Et voici que, tout à coup, Jésus vint à leur rencontre et leur dit: Salut à vous. Elles s’approchèrent de lui, lui embrassèrent les pieds et l’adorèrent. 10 Alors Jésus leur dit: N’ayez aucune crainte! Allez dire à mes frères qu’ils doivent se rendre en Galilée: c’est là qu’ils me verront. 11 Pendant qu’elles étaient en chemin, quelques soldats de la garde retournèrent en ville pour faire aux chefs des prêtres leur rapport sur tous ces événements. 12 Ceux-ci convoquèrent les responsables du peuple et, après avoir délibéré avec eux, versèrent aux soldats une forte somme d’argent 13 avec cette consigne: Vous raconterez que ses disciples sont venus pendant la nuit et qu’ils ont volé son cadavre pendant que vous dormiez. 14 Si jamais l’affaire parvenait aux oreilles du gouverneur, nous saurons lui parler et faire le nécessaire pour que vous n’ayez pas d’ennuis. 15 Les soldats prirent l’argent et se conformèrent à ces consignes. Cette version des faits s’est propagée parmi les Juifs où elle a cours jusqu’à aujourd’hui.

La souveraineté du Ressuscité

16 Les onze disciples se rendirent en Galilée, sur la colline que Jésus leur avait indiquée. 17 Dès qu’ils l’aperçurent, ils l’adorèrent. Mais ils ne surent que penser^[1]. 18 Alors Jésus s’approcha d’eux et leur parla ainsi: J’ai reçu tout pouvoir dans le ciel et sur la terre: 19 allez donc dans le monde entier, faites des disciples parmi tous les peuples, baptisez-les au nom du Père, du Fils et du Saint-Esprit 20 et enseignez-leur à obéir à tout ce que je vous ai prescrit. Et voici: je suis moi-même avec vous tous les jours, jusqu’à la fin du monde.
