Die Feste des Herrn

1 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach: 2 Rede zu den Kindern Israels und sage ihnen: Das sind die Feste des HERRN, zu denen ihr heilige Festversammlungen einberufen sollt; dies sind meine Feste: (2Mo 23,14; 3Mo 23,4; 3Mo 23,37; 5Mo 16,16; 2Chr 8,13)

Der Sabbat

3 Sechs Tage lang soll man arbeiten, aber am siebten Tag ist ein Sabbat^[1] der Ruhe, eine heilige Versammlung; da sollt ihr kein Werk tun; denn es ist der Sabbat des HERRN, in allen euren Wohnorten. (2Mo 20,8; 2Mo 31,13)

Das Passah; das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote

4 Das sind aber die Feste des HERRN, die heiligen Versammlungen, die ihr zu festgesetzten Zeiten einberufen sollt: (4Mo 10,10; Ps 81,4; Ps 89,16) 5 Im ersten Monat, am vierzehnten [Tag] des Monats, zur Abendzeit, ist das Passah des HERRN. (2Mo 12,2; 2Mo 13,6; 4Mo 28,16; 5Mo 16,1; Jos 5,10; Mt 26,17; 1Kor 11,23)

6 Und am fünfzehnten Tag desselben Monats ist das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote für den HERRN. Da sollt ihr sieben Tage lang ungesäuertes Brot essen. (2Mo 12,15; 2Mo 13,3; 1Kor 5,7) 7 Am ersten Tag sollt ihr eine heilige Versammlung halten; da sollt ihr keine Werktagsarbeit verrichten, (3Mo 23,3; 3Mo 23,8) 8 und ihr sollt dem HERRN sieben Tage lang ein Feueropfer darbringen. Am siebten Tag ist eine heilige Versammlung, da sollt ihr keine Werktagsarbeit verrichten. (4Mo 28,18)

Die Darbringung der Erstlingsgarbe

9 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach: 10 Rede zu den Kindern Israels und sage ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch geben werde, und seine Ernte einbringt, so sollt ihr die Erstlingsgarbe von eurer Ernte zum Priester bringen. 11 Der soll die Garbe weben vor dem HERRN, zum Wohlgefallen für euch; am Tag nach dem Sabbat soll sie der Priester weben. (2Mo 29,24; 3Mo 9,21; 3Mo 10,14) 12 Ihr sollt aber an dem Tag, an dem ihr eure Garbe webt, dem HERRN ein Brandopfer opfern von einem makellosen einjährigen Lamm, (3Mo 1,10) 13 und das dazugehörige Speisopfer, zwei Zehntel Feinmehl, mit Öl angerührt, ein Feueropfer, dem HERRN zum lieblichen Geruch, sowie das dazugehörige Trankopfer, ein Viertel Hin Wein. 14 Ihr sollt aber weder Brot noch geröstetes Korn noch Jungkorn essen bis zu ebendiesem Tag, da ihr eurem Gott diese Gabe darbringt. Das ist eine ewig gültige Ordnung für eure [künftigen] Geschlechter in allen euren Wohnorten. (3Mo 3,17; 3Mo 19,23)

Das Fest der Wochen (Pfingstfest)

15 Danach sollt ihr euch vom Tag nach dem Sabbat, von dem Tag, da ihr die Webegarbe darbringt, sieben volle Wochen abzählen, (2Mo 34,22; 5Mo 16,9) 16 bis zu dem Tag, der auf den siebten Sabbat folgt, nämlich 50 Tage sollt ihr zählen, und dann dem HERRN ein neues Speisopfer darbringen. (4Mo 28,26; Apg 2,1) 17 Ihr sollt nämlich aus euren Wohnungen zwei Webebrote bringen, von zwei Zehntel [Epha] Feinmehl [zubereitet]; die sollen gesäuert gebacken werden als Erstlinge für den HERRN. (2Mo 23,16; 4Mo 15,20) 18 Zu dem Brot aber sollt ihr sieben einjährige, makellose Lämmer darbringen und einen Jungstier und zwei Widder; das soll das Brandopfer für den HERRN sein; und das dazugehörige Speisopfer und Trankopfer — ein Feueropfer, dem HERRN zum lieblichen Geruch. (4Mo 15,10; 4Mo 29,6) 19 Ihr sollt auch einen Ziegenbock zum Sündopfer und zwei einjährige Lämmer zum Friedensopfer opfern; (4Mo 3,6; 4Mo 15,24; 4Mo 28,27) 20 und der Priester soll sie samt den Erstlingsbroten weben, zusammen mit den beiden Lämmern, als Webopfer vor dem HERRN. Die sollen dem HERRN heilig sein und dem Priester gehören. (4Mo 18,12; 1Kor 9,14) 21 Und ihr sollt an ebendiesem Tag ausrufen lassen: »Eine heilige Versammlung soll es euch sein, und keine Werktagsarbeit sollt ihr verrichten!« Das ist eine ewig gültige Ordnung in allen euren Wohnorten für eure [künftigen] Geschlechter. (3Mo 23,36; 4Mo 29,35; Ps 26,12) 22 Wenn ihr aber die Ernte eures Landes einbringt, so sollst du dein Feld nicht bis an den Rand abernten und keine Nachlese deiner Ernte halten, sondern es dem Armen und dem Fremdling überlassen. Das Fest des Hörnerschalls (Posaunenfest)

23 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach: 24 Rede zu den Kindern Israels und sprich: Im siebten Monat, am ersten des Monats, soll ein Ruhetag für euch sein, ein Gedenken unter Hörnerschall, eine heilige Versammlung. (4Mo 10,10; 4Mo 29,1; Esr 3,6) 25 Ihr sollt keine Werktagsarbeit verrichten, sondern dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen. (3Mo 23,3; 4Mo 29,7; 5Mo 5,14)

Der Versöhnungstag

26 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach: 27 Am zehnten [Tag] in diesem siebten Monat ist der Versöhnungstag, der soll euch eine heilige Versammlung sein; und ihr sollt eure Seelen demütigen und dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen; (3Mo 16,29; 4Mo 29,7; Esr 8,21) 28 und ihr sollt an diesem Tag keine Arbeit verrichten, denn es ist der Versöhnungstag, um Sühnung für euch zu erwirken vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott. (3Mo 16,30; Sach 13,1) 29 Denn jede Seele, die sich an diesem Tag nicht demütigt, die soll ausgerottet werden aus ihrem Volk; (2Mo 31,14; 3Mo 7,20) 30 und die Seele, die an diesem Tag irgendeine Arbeit verrichtet, die will ich vertilgen mitten aus ihrem Volk. 31 Ihr sollt keine Arbeit verrichten. Das ist eine ewig gültige Ordnung für eure [künftigen] Geschlechter an allen euren Wohnorten. (3Mo 3,17) 32 Ein Sabbat der Ruhe soll es für euch sein, und ihr sollt eure Seelen demütigen. Das Laubhüttenfest

33 Und der HERR redete zu Mose und sprach: 34 Rede zu den Kindern Israels und sprich: Am fünfzehnten Tag dieses siebten Monats soll dem HERRN das Laubhüttenfest gefeiert werden, sieben Tage lang. (3Mo 23,42; 5Mo 16,13; 5Mo 16,16; 2Chr 8,13; Esr 3,4; Neh 8,14; Sach 14,16; Joh 7,2)

35 Am ersten Tag ist eine heilige Versammlung; da sollt ihr keine Werktagsarbeit verrichten. (3Mo 23,7; 3Mo 23,25) 36 Sieben Tage lang sollt ihr dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen; und am achten Tag sollt ihr eine heilige Versammlung halten und dem HERRN ein Feueropfer darbringen; es ist eine Festversammlung; da sollt ihr keine Werktagsarbeit verrichten. (4Mo 29,35; Neh 8,18; Joh 7,37) 37 Das sind die Feste des HERRN, zu denen ihr heilige Versammlungen einberufen sollt, um dem HERRN Feueropfer, Brandopfer, Speisopfer, Schlachtopfer und Trankopfer darzubringen, jeden Tag das, was vorgeschrieben ist — (3Mo 23,2; 3Mo 23,4; 5Mo 16,16) 38 zusätzlich zu den Sabbaten des HERRN und zu euren Gaben und zusätzlich zu allen euren Gelübden und allen euren freiwilligen Gaben, die ihr dem HERRN gebt. (4Mo 29,39; Ps 56,13; Ps 76,12) 39 So sollt ihr nun am fünfzehnten Tag des siebten Monats, wenn ihr den Ertrag des Landes eingebracht habt, das Fest des HERRN halten, sieben Tage lang; am ersten Tag ist ein Feiertag und am achten Tag ist auch ein Feiertag. (Ps 65,10) 40 Ihr sollt aber am ersten Tag Früchte nehmen von schönen Bäumen, Palmenzweige und Zweige von dicht belaubten Bäumen und Bachweiden, und ihr sollt euch sieben Tage lang freuen vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott. (Neh 8,14) 41 Und so sollt ihr dem HERRN das Fest halten, sieben Tage lang im Jahr. Das soll eine ewige Ordnung sein für eure [künftigen] Geschlechter, dass ihr dieses im siebten Monat feiert. (4Mo 29,12; Neh 8,18) 42 Sieben Tage lang sollt ihr in Laubhütten wohnen; alle Einheimischen in Israel sollen in Laubhütten wohnen, (3Mo 23,34) 43 damit eure Nachkommen wissen, dass ich die Kinder Israels in Laubhütten wohnen ließ, als ich sie aus dem Land Ägypten herausführte; ich, der HERR, bin euer Gott. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work. The Feast of Firstfruits

11 and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. (2Mo 29,24; 3Mo 23,15; 3Mo 23,20) 12 And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord. The Feast of Weeks

15 “You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering. (2Mo 34,22; 3Mo 23,11; 5Mo 16,9) 16 You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you shall present a grain offering of new grain to the Lord. (4Mo 28,26; Apg 2,1) 17 You shall bring from your dwelling places two loaves of bread to be waved, made of two tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour, and they shall be baked with leaven, as firstfruits to the Lord. (3Mo 23,10) 18 And you shall present with the bread seven lambs a year old without blemish, and one bull from the herd and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 19 And you shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest. (3Mo 23,11; 4Mo 18,12; 5Mo 18,4) 21 And you shall make a proclamation on the same day. You shall hold a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. It is a statute forever in all your dwelling places throughout your generations. 22 “And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. The Feast of Trumpets

23 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with blast of trumpets, a holy convocation. (3Mo 25,9; 4Mo 29,1) 25 You shall not do any ordinary work, and you shall present a food offering to the Lord.”

The Day of Atonement

26 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “Now on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be for you a time of holy convocation, and you shall afflict yourselves^[4] and present a food offering to the Lord. (3Mo 16,29; 4Mo 29,7) 28 And you shall not do any work on that very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God. 29 For whoever is not afflicted^[5] on that very day shall be cut off from his people. (2Mo 30,33) 30 And whoever does any work on that very day, that person I will destroy from among his people. 31 You shall not do any work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. 32 It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”

The Feast of Booths

35 On the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work. 36 For seven days you shall present food offerings to the Lord. 37 “These are the appointed feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim as times of holy convocation, for presenting to the Lord food offerings, burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its proper day, (3Mo 23,2; 3Mo 23,4) 38 besides the Lord’s Sabbaths and besides your gifts and besides all your vow offerings and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to the Lord. (4Mo 29,39) 39 “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord seven days. On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest. (2Mo 23,16; 5Mo 16,13) 40 And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days. (5Mo 16,14; Neh 8,14) 41 You shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. (4Mo 29,12) 42 You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native Israelites shall dwell in booths, (Neh 8,14) 43 that your generations may know that I made the people of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.” (5Mo 31,10) 44 Thus Moses declared to the people of Israel the appointed feasts of the Lord.
