1Und es geschah, als die 20 Jahre verflossen waren, in denen Salomo das Haus des HERRN und sein eigenes Haus gebaut hatte, (2Sam 7,2; 1Kön 6,38; 1Kön 7,1; 1Kön 9,10)2da baute Salomo auch die Städte aus, die Huram dem Salomo gegeben hatte, und er ließ die Kinder Israels darin wohnen. (1Kön 9,11)3Und Salomo zog nach Hamat-Zoba und überwältigte es, (2Sam 8,3; 2Sam 10,6; 2Kön 14,28; 2Kön 19,13; 1Chr 18,3; Sach 9,2)4und er baute Tadmor in der Wüste [aus] und alle Vorratsstädte, die er in Hamat baute. (1Kön 9,17)5Er baute auch das obere Beth-Horon und das untere Beth-Horon [aus], feste Städte mit Mauern, Toren und Riegeln, (Jos 16,3; Jos 16,5; 1Chr 7,24)6auch Baalat und alle Vorratsstädte, die Salomo gehörten, und alle Wagenstädte und Reiterstädte und alles, wozu Salomo Lust hatte zu bauen in Jerusalem und auf dem Libanon und im ganzen Land seiner Herrschaft. (Jos 19,44; 1Kön 9,17; 2Chr 1,14; Pred 2,4; Pred 2,10)7Und alles Volk, das von den Hetitern, Amoritern, Pheresitern, Hewitern und Jebusitern übrig geblieben war und nicht zu Israel gehörte, (1Mo 15,18; 5Mo 7,1; 1Kön 9,20)8ihre Söhne, die im Land nach ihnen übrig geblieben waren, welche die Kinder Israels nicht vertilgt hatten, machte Salomo fronpflichtig bis zu diesem Tag. (Jos 16,10; 1Kön 5,13; 2Chr 2,17)9Aber von den Kindern Israels machte er keine zu Leibeigenen für seine Arbeit, sondern sie waren seine Kriegsleute und Oberste seiner Wagenkämpfer und Oberste über seine Streitwagen und über seine Reiter. (1Kön 9,23)11Und Salomo brachte die Tochter des Pharao aus der Stadt Davids herauf in das Haus, das er für sie gebaut hatte. (2Mo 3,5; 2Mo 29,43; 1Kön 3,1; 1Kön 7,8; 1Kön 9,24)12Von da an opferte Salomo dem HERRN Brandopfer auf dem Altar des HERRN, den er vor der Halle gebaut hatte, (2Chr 4,1; 2Chr 6,12; 2Chr 7,9; 2Chr 15,8; 2Chr 23,10; 2Chr 29,19)13was an jedem Tag zu opfern war nach dem Gesetz Moses, an den Sabbaten und Neumonden und an den Festzeiten, dreimal im Jahr, nämlich am Fest der ungesäuerten Brote, am Wochenfest und am Laubhüttenfest. (2Mo 23,14; 4Mo 28,1; 5Mo 16,16; 1Kön 9,25; Hes 45,17)14Und er bestimmte die Abteilungen der Priester, wie sein Vater David sie geordnet hatte, zu ihrem Dienst, und die Leviten zu ihren Aufgaben, um zu loben und zu dienen vor den Priestern, wie es jeder Tag erforderte; und die Torhüter nach ihren Abteilungen zu jedem Tor; denn so hatte es David, der Mann Gottes, geboten. (1Kön 5,18; 1Kön 6,14)17Damals ging Salomo nach Ezjon-Geber und Elat, das am Ufer des Meeres liegt, im Land Edom. (4Mo 33,35; 5Mo 2,8; 1Kön 9,26; 2Kön 14,22; 2Kön 16,6; 2Chr 20,36)18Und Huram sandte ihm Schiffe durch seine Knechte, die sich auf dem Meer auskannten; die fuhren mit den Knechten Salomos nach Ophir und holten von dort 450 Talente Gold und brachten es dem König Salomo. 1At the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the house of the Lord and his own house, (1Kön 9,10)2Solomon rebuilt the cities that Hiram had given to him, and settled the people of Israel in them.3And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and took it.4He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the store cities that he built in Hamath.5He also built Upper Beth-horon and Lower Beth-horon, fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars, (5Mo 3,5; Jos 16,3; Jos 16,5; 2Chr 14,7)6and Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had and all the cities for his chariots and the cities for his horsemen, and whatever Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.7All the people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel, (1Mo 15,18)8from their descendants who were left after them in the land, whom the people of Israel had not destroyed—these Solomon drafted as forced labor, and so they are to this day. (Jos 16,10; 1Kön 4,6; 1Kön 9,21; 1Kön 12,18; 2Chr 10,18)9But of the people of Israel Solomon made no slaves for his work; they were soldiers, and his officers, the commanders of his chariots, and his horsemen.10And these were the chief officers of King Solomon, 250, who exercised authority over the people.11Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the city of David to the house that he had built for her, for he said, “My wife shall not live in the house of David king of Israel, for the places to which the ark of the Lord has come are holy.” (1Kön 3,1; 1Kön 7,8; 1Kön 9,24)12Then Solomon offered up burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord that he had built before the vestibule, (2Chr 4,1; 2Chr 15,8)13as the duty of each day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the three annual feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths. (2Mo 23,14; 2Mo 29,38; 4Mo 28,3; 4Mo 28,9; 4Mo 28,11; 4Mo 28,26; 4Mo 29,2; 5Mo 16,16)14According to the ruling of David his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their offices of praise and ministry before the priests as the duty of each day required, and the gatekeepers in their divisions at each gate, for so David the man of God had commanded. (1Chr 9,17; 1Chr 9,26; 2Chr 7,6; 2Chr 8,13; Neh 12,24; Neh 12,36)15And they did not turn aside from what the king had commanded the priests and Levites concerning any matter and concerning the treasuries.16Thus was accomplished all the work of Solomon from[1] the day the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid until it was finished. So the house of the Lord was completed.17Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and Eloth on the shore of the sea, in the land of Edom. (5Mo 2,8; 1Kön 9,26; 2Kön 14,22)18And Hiram sent to him by the hand of his servants ships and servants familiar with the sea, and they went to Ophir together with the servants of Solomon and brought from there 450 talents[2] of gold and brought it to King Solomon.
