The King of Glory

A Psalm of David.

1 The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof,^[1] the world and those who dwell therein, (Wj 9,29; Wj 19,5; Pwt 10,14; Job 41,11; Ps 50,12; Ps 89,11; 1 Kor 10,26)

3 Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? (Ps 2,6; Ps 15,1) 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.^[2] Selah (Ps 14,5; Ps 27,8; Ps 105,4) 7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (Ps 118,19; Ps 118,20; Iz 26,2; 1 Kor 2,8)
