1 Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! (Rdz 4,26; 1 Krn 16,8; 1 Krn 16,34; Ps 99,6; Ps 106,1; Ps 116,13; Ps 116,17; Ps 145,4; Ps 145,5; Ps 145,11; Ps 145,12; Iz 12,4)2 Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! (Ps 77,12)3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!4 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! (Ps 27,8; Ps 78,61)5 Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered, (Wj 6,6; Wj 7,4; Ps 72,18; Ps 77,11)6 O offspring of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob, his chosen ones! (Ps 105,42; Ps 105,43; Ps 106,5; Ps 135,4)7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. (Iz 26,9)8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations, (Pwt 7,9; Ps 105,42; Ps 106,45; Ps 111,5; Łk 1,72)9 the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac, (Rdz 17,2; Rdz 22,15; Rdz 26,3)10 which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, (Rdz 28,13; Rdz 28,14; Rdz 35,11; Rdz 35,12)11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.” (Rdz 13,15; Rdz 15,18; Ps 78,55)12 When they were few in number, of little account, and sojourners in it, (Rdz 34,30; Pwt 7,7; Pwt 26,5; Hbr 11,9)13 wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,14 he allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account, (Rdz 12,17; Rdz 20,3; Rdz 35,5)15 saying, “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!” (Rdz 20,6; Rdz 20,7; Rdz 26,11)16 When he summoned a famine on the land and broke all supply[1] of bread, (Rdz 41,54; Kpł 26,26; 2 Krl 8,1; Ps 104,15; Iz 3,1; Ez 4,16; Ag 1,11)17 he had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. (Rdz 37,28; Rdz 37,36; Rdz 45,5; Rdz 50,20; Dz 7,9)18 His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron; (Rdz 39,20)19 until what he had said came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him. (Rdz 40,20; Rdz 40,21; Rdz 41,53; Rdz 41,54; Sdz 7,4)20 The king sent and released him; the ruler of the peoples set him free; (Rdz 41,14; Ps 146,7)21 he made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions, (Rdz 41,40)22 to bind[2] his princes at his pleasure and to teach his elders wisdom.23 Then Israel came to Egypt; Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. (Rdz 46,6; Ps 78,51; Ps 106,22; Dz 7,15; Dz 13,17)24 And the LORD made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes. (Wj 1,7; Pwt 26,5)25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants. (Wj 1,10; Wj 9,12; Dz 7,19; Rz 11,8)26 He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen. (Wj 3,10; Wj 4,12; Lb 16,5; Lb 17,5)27 They performed his signs among them and miracles in the land of Ham. (Ps 23,1; Ps 78,43)28 He sent darkness, and made the land dark; they did not rebel[3] against his words. (Wj 10,21; Ps 99,7)29 He turned their waters into blood and caused their fish to die. (Wj 7,21)30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings. (Wj 8,3)31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats throughout their country. (Wj 8,16; Wj 8,21)32 He gave them hail for rain, and fiery lightning bolts through their land. (Wj 9,23)33 He struck down their vines and fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country. (Wj 9,25)34 He spoke, and the locusts came, young locusts without number, (Wj 10,12)35 which devoured all the vegetation in their land and ate up the fruit of their ground.36 He struck down all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their strength. (Ps 78,51)37 Then he brought out Israel with silver and gold, and there was none among his tribes who stumbled. (Wj 12,35; Wj 12,36)38 Egypt was glad when they departed, for dread of them had fallen upon it. (Wj 12,23; Wj 15,16)39 He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light by night. (Job 36,20; Iz 4,5)40 They asked, and he brought quail, and gave them bread from heaven in abundance. (Wj 16,13; Ps 78,18; Ps 78,24; Ps 78,25; Ps 78,27; Jan 6,31)41 He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it flowed through the desert like a river. (Ps 63,1; Ps 78,15)42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham, his servant. (Rdz 15,14; Wj 2,24; Ps 105,8)43 So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing. (Ps 42,1; Iz 35,10)44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil, (Joz 24,13; Ps 78,55)45 that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the LORD! (Pwt 4,1; Pwt 4,40; Ps 78,7; Ps 104,35)
