ارميا و حننيای نبی

1 در همان سال، در ابتدای سلطنت صدقيا، پادشاه يهودا، در ماه پنجم از سال چهارم، يک نبی دروغين به نام حننيا (پسر عزور)، اهل جبعون، در خانهٔ خداوند ايستاد و در مقابل كاهنان و مردم، رو به من كرد و گفت: 2 «خداوند قادر متعال، خدای اسرائيل میفرمايد: من يوغ بندگی پادشاه بابل را از گردن شما برمیدارم. 3 بعد از دو سال، تمام ظروف و اشیا گرانبهای خانه خداوند را كه نبوكدنصر به بابل برده، پس خواهم آورد. 4 يهوياكين (پسر يهوياقيم) پادشاه يهودا را نيز با تمام كسانی كه به بابل به اسارت رفتهاند، به اينجا باز خواهم گرداند. بلی، من يوغی را كه پادشاه بابل بر گردن شما گذارده، برخواهم داشت.» 5 آنگاه من در حضور كاهنان و مردمی كه در خانهٔ خدا جمع شده بودند، به حننيا گفتم: 6 «آمين! خدا كند پيشگويیهای تو همه عملی شوند! اميدوارم هر چه گفتی، خداوند همان را بكند و گنجينههای اين عبادتگاه را با تمام عزيزان ما كه در بابل اسيرند، باز آورد. 7 ولی حال در حضور تمام اين مردم به سخنان من گوش بده! 8 انبيای گذشته كه پيش از من و تو بودهاند، اكثراً بر ضد قومهای ديگر پيشگويی میكردند و هميشه از جنگ و قحطی، بلا و مرض خبر میدادند. 9 اما آن نبیای كه دربارهٔ صلح و آرامش پيشگويی میكند، زمانی ثابت میشود كه از جانب خداوند سخن گفته است كه پيشگويیاش به انجام برسد.» 10 آنگاه حننيا، نبی دروغين، يوغی را كه بر گردن من بود، برداشت و آن را شكست. 11 سپس به جمعيتی كه در آنجا بودند، گفت: «خداوند قول داده است كه دو سال ديگر يوغ نبوكدنصر، پادشاه بابل را به همين شكل از گردن قومها بردارد و آن را بشكند و ايشان را آزاد سازد.» با شنيدن سخنان او، من از آنجا بيرون رفتم. 12 پس از مدتی خداوند به من فرمود: 13 «برو به حننيا بگو كه خداوند چنين میفرمايد: ”تو يوغ چوبين را شكستی، ولی يوغ آهنين جای آن را خواهد گرفت. 14 من بر گردن تمام اين قومها، يوغ آهنين گذاشتهام تا نبوكدنصر، پادشاه بابل را بندگی نمايند. حتی تمام حيوانات وحشی را مطيع او ساختهام!“» 15 آنگاه به حننيا گفتم: «حننيا، گوش كن! خداوند تو را نفرستاده و با تو سخن نگفته است. تو میخواهی مردم را واداری كه به وعدههای دروغين تو اميد ببندند. 16 از اين جهت خداوند فرموده كه تو خواهی مرد؛ همين امسال عمرت به پايان خواهد رسيد، چون مردم را عليه خداوند شورانيدهای!» 17 دو ماه بعد، حننيا مرد.

Hananiah the False Prophet

1 In that same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying, (يوشع‌ 9:3; يوشع‌ 21:17; اِرميا 27:12; حزقيال‌ نبی‌ 11:1)

2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. (اِرميا 27:2; اِرميا 27:11) 3 Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. (اِرميا 27:16; اِرميا 28:11) 4 I will also bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon, declares the Lord, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.” (اِرميا 22:10; اِرميا 22:12; اِرميا 22:26; اِرميا 28:2)

5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Hananiah the prophet in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the Lord, 6 and the prophet Jeremiah said, “Amen! May the Lord do so; may the Lord make the words that you have prophesied come true, and bring back to this place from Babylon the vessels of the house of the Lord, and all the exiles. (1پادشاهان 1:36) 7 Yet hear now this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people. 8 The prophets who preceded you and me from ancient times prophesied war, famine, and pestilence against many countries and great kingdoms. (اِرميا 26:18) 9 As for the prophet who prophesies peace, when the word of that prophet comes to pass, then it will be known that the Lord has truly sent the prophet.” (تثنيه 18:22; اِرميا 6:14) 10 Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke-bars from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke them. (اِرميا 27:2) 11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within two years.” But Jeremiah the prophet went his way. 12 Sometime after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke-bars from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: (اِرميا 28:1; اِرميا 28:10) 13 “Go, tell Hananiah, ‘Thus says the Lord: You have broken wooden bars, but you have made in their place bars of iron. 14 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put upon the neck of all these nations an iron yoke to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him, for I have given to him even the beasts of the field.’” (تثنيه 28:48; اِرميا 25:11; اِرميا 27:6)

16 Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’” (تثنيه 13:5; اِرميا 29:32) 17 In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.
