1 Halleluja! Auf, meine Seele, lobe Jahwe! 2 Singen will ich Jahwe mein Leben lang, / meinem Gott lobsingen, solange ich bin. 3 Verlasst euch nicht auf Mächtige, / auf einen Menschen, der nicht helfen kann. 4 Auch er muss sterben und zerfällt zu Staub, / am selben Tag ist es mit seinen Plänen vorbei. 5 Wie glücklich muss der sein, dessen Hilfe der Gott Jakobs ist, / der seine Hoffnung auf Jahwe, seinen Gott, setzt, 6 auf den, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat, / das Meer und alles darin. / Seine Zuverlässigkeit ist unbeschränkt. 7 Er schafft den Unterdrückten Recht / und gibt den Hungrigen Brot. / Jahwe lässt die Gefangenen frei. 8 Jahwe gibt den Blinden Licht, / Jahwe richtet die Gebeugten auf. / Jahwe liebt die Gerechten. 9 Jahwe behütet die Fremden. / Waisen und Witwen hilft er immer wieder auf, / doch den Weg der Ungerechten macht er krumm. 10 Jahwe wird König in Ewigkeit sein; / dein Gott, Zion, in jeder Generation. Halleluja, preist Jahwe!

1 هَلِّلُويَا! سَبِّحِي يَا نَفْسِي الرَّبَّ. 2 أُسَبِّحُ الرَّبَّ مَادُمْتُ حَيًّا، وَأَشْدُو لإِلَهِي مَادُمْتُ مَوْجُوداً. 3 لَا تَتَوَكَّلُوا عَلَى الرُّؤَسَاءِ، وَلَا عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ الَّذِي لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَكُمْ. 4 تَنْطَلِقُ رُوحُهُ مِنْهُ فَيَعُودُ إِلَى تُرَابِهِ، وَآنَئِذٍ تَنْدَثِرُ تَدَابِيرُهُ. 5 طُوبَى لِمَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَهُ يَعْقُوبَ مُعِينَهُ، وَرَجَاؤُهُ فِي الرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِ، 6 خَالِقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَالْبَحْرِ وَكُلِّ مَا فِيهَا، الأَمِينِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. 7 مُنْصِفِ الْمَظْلُومِينَ وَرَازِقِ الْجِيَاعِ طَعَاماً. يُحَرِّرُ الرَّبُّ الْمَأْسُورِينَ. 8 الرَّبُّ يَفْتَحُ أَعْيُنَ الْعُمْيِ. الرَّبُّ يُنْهِضُ الْمُنْحَنِينَ. الرَّبُّ يُحِبُّ الصِّدِّيقِينَ. 9 الرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُ الْغُرَبَاءَ، يَعْضُدُ الْيَتَامَى وَالأَرَامِلَ، وَلَكِنَّهُ يُحْبِطُ مَسَاعِيَ الأَشْرَارِ. 10 الرَّبُّ يَمْلِكُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. يَمْلِكُ إِلَهُكِ يَا صِهْيَوْنُ مِنْ جِيلٍ إِلَى جِيلٍ. هَلِّلُويَا.

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! (Ps 135,1) 2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Ps 63,4; Ps 104,33; Ps 145,2) 3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. (Ps 60,11; Ps 108,12; Ps 118,8; Ps 118,9; Jes 2,22; Jer 17,5) 4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. (Hi 10,9; Hi 34,14; Ps 104,29; Pred 12,7) 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, (Ps 2,12; Ps 119,116; Ps 144,15) 6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; (Ps 100,5; Ps 115,15; Ps 117,2) 7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; (Ps 68,6; Ps 103,6; Ps 105,20; Ps 107,9; Ps 145,15; Jes 61,1) 8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. (Ps 11,7; Ps 145,14; Ps 147,6; Mt 9,30; Joh 9,7) 9 The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. 1 Славьте Вечного! Как хорошо петь хвалу нашему Богу! Как сладостна подобающая хвала! 2 Вечный отстраивает Иерусалим, собирает изгнанников Исраила. 3 Он исцеляет разбитые сердца и врачует раны. 4 Он исчисляет количество звёзд и называет их по именам. 5 Велик наш Владыка и могуществен; Его разум не знает границ. 6 Вечный возвышает кроткого, нечестивого же низвергает на землю. 7 Воспойте Вечному с благодарностью, сыграйте нашему Богу на арфе. 8 Он небо покрывает тучами, готовит дождь для земли и растит траву на горах. 9 Он даёт пищу животным и кричащим птенцам ворона. 10 Не силе лошади Он радуется и не к быстроте человеческих ног благоволит, 11 но благоволит Вечный к боящимся Его, к уповающим на Его милость.
