1Die Hand Jahwes legte sich auf mich. Er entführte mich im Geist ins Freie und setzte mich mitten in einer Talebene ab, die voller Menschenknochen lag.2Er führte mich rings um sie herum. Es waren unzählige, und alle waren völlig ausgetrocknet.3Dann fragte er mich: „Du Mensch, werden diese Knochen wohl wieder lebendig?“ – „Mein Herr, Jahwe, du weißt es“, erwiderte ich.4Da befahl er mir: „Weissage über diese Knochen und ruf ihnen zu: 'Ihr vertrocknete Knochen, hört das Wort Jahwes!5So spricht Jahwe, der Herr, zu diesen Knochen: Passt auf, ich bringe Atem und Geist in euch, dass ihr lebt!6Ich lege Sehnen an euch, lasse Fleisch über euch wachsen und überziehe euch mit Haut. Dann gebe ich meinen Geist in euch, dass ihr lebt. Ihr sollt erkennen, dass ich Jahwe bin.'“7Ich weissagte, wie es mir befohlen war. Während ich das tat, entstand ein Geräusch, ja ein richtiges Getöse. Die Knochen rückten zusammen, Gebein an Gebein.8Dann sah ich auf einmal, wie Sehnen und Muskeln darauf wuchsen und sich eine Haut darüber bildete. Doch es war noch kein Atem und kein Geist in ihnen.9Da sagte er zu mir: „Weissage dem Geist, Mensch, weissage und sprich zu dem Geist: 'So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Komm von den vier Winden[1] her, du Lebensgeist, und hauche diese Erschlagenen an, dass Leben in sie kommt!'“10Ich weissagte, wie es mir befohlen war. Da kam der Lebensgeist in sie, sie wurden lebendig und standen auf. Es war ein riesiges Heer.11Er sagte zu mir: „Du Mensch, diese Totenknochen sind das Volk Israel. Noch sagen sie: 'Unsere Knochen sind vertrocknet, unsere Hoffnung ist verloren, es ist aus mit uns!'12Darum weissage ihnen Folgendes: 'So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Passt auf, ich öffne eure Gräber und hole euch, mein Volk, heraus und bringe euch ins Land Israel zurück!13Ihr werdet erkennen, dass ich es bin – Jahwe, wenn ich eure Gräber öffne und euch, mein Volk, heraushole.14Ich gebe meinen Geist in euch, dass Leben in euch kommt, und setze euch in euer Land. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich, Jahwe, das gesagt und auch getan habe, spricht Jahwe.'“
Israel und Juda wieder vereint
15Das Wort Jahwes kam zu mir. Er sagte:16„Du Mensch, nimm dir ein Stück Holz und schreibe darauf: 'Juda und die zu ihm gehörenden Leute von Israel'! Nimm ein zweites Stück Holz und schreibe darauf: 'Josef, Efraïm und das ganze Volk Israel, das zu ihm gehört'!17Dann halte beide zusammen, dass sie in deiner Hand wie ein einziges Stück Holz aussehen.18Und wenn deine Landsleute dich fragen: 'Willst du uns nicht erklären, was das bedeuten soll?',19dann sag zu ihnen: 'So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Seht, ich nehme das Holz Josefs, das für Efraïm und die Stämme Israels steht, die zu ihm gehören, und füge es mit dem Holz Judas zusammen, sodass sie in meiner Hand eins werden.'20Die Hölzer, auf die du geschrieben hast, sollst du vor ihren Augen in deiner Hand halten.21Sag zu ihnen:
, So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Seht, ich hole die Israeliten aus den Völkern heraus, zu denen sie gehen mussten, und bringe sie von überall her in ihre Heimat zurück.22Dort, auf den Bergen Israels, mache ich sie zu einem einzigen Volk unter einem einzigen König. Sie sollen nicht mehr zwei getrennte Völker und zwei getrennte Königreiche sein.23Sie werden sich nicht mehr durch ihr böses Tun, ihre Götzen und Scheusale besudeln. Ich will ihnen Hilfe in ihren Wohnorten schaffen, wo sie gesündigt haben, und mache sie wieder rein. Sie sollen mein Volk sein, und ich, ich werde ihr Gott sein.24Und mein Diener David[2] soll König über sie sein. So werden sie alle einen einzigen Hirten haben. Sie werden nach meinen Weisungen leben und meine Gebote befolgen.25Sie werden in dem Land wohnen, das ich meinem Diener Jakob gegeben habe, wo auch ihre Vorfahren lebten, ihre Kinder und Enkel und alle kommenden Generationen. Und mein Diener David wird für immer über sie herrschen.26Ich schließe einen Friedensbund mit ihnen. Es wird ein ewiger Bund sein. Ich werde sie sich vermehren lassen und lasse mein Heiligtum für immer in ihrer Mitte sein.27Meine Wohnung wird über ihnen sein. Ich werde ihr Gott und sie werden mein Volk sein.[3] (3Mo 26,12; 2Kor 6,16)28Wenn dann mein Heiligtum für immer in ihrer Mitte ist, werden die Völker erkennen, dass ich es bin – Jahwe, der Israel heilig macht.'“
1The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley;[1] it was full of bones. (Hes 1,3; Hes 3,12)2And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry.3And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” (5Mo 32,39; Hes 2,1; Joh 5,21; 1Kor 15,35)4Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. (Hes 6,2; Joh 5,28)5Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath[2] to enter you, and you shall live. (1Mo 2,7)6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.” (Hes 6,7; Hes 37,8)7So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a sound, and behold, a rattling,[3] and the bones came together, bone to its bone. (1Kön 19,11; Hes 12,7; Hes 24,18)8And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them. But there was no breath in them. (Hes 37,5)9Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” (Hes 37,3; Hes 37,4; Dan 7,2; Dan 11,4; Offb 7,1)10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. (Hes 37,7; Offb 11,11)11Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’ (Jes 49,14; Kla 3,54; Hes 33,10; Hes 37,3)12Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. (Jes 26,19; Hes 36,24; Hes 37,4; Hes 37,21; Hes 37,25; Hos 13,14)13And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. (Hes 6,7)14And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord.” (Hes 17,24; Hes 36,27)
I Will Be Their God; They Shall Be My People
15The word of the Lord came to me:16“Son of man, take a stick[4] and write on it, ‘For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him.’ (1Mo 48,13; 1Mo 48,19; 4Mo 17,2; 2Chr 11,12; 2Chr 11,16; 2Chr 15,9; 2Chr 30,11; 2Chr 30,18; Hes 2,1; Hos 5,3; Hos 5,5; Sach 10,6)17And join them one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand. (Jes 11,13; Hes 35,10; Hes 37,22; Hes 37,24)18And when your people say to you, ‘Will you not tell us what you mean by these?’ (Hes 12,9; Hes 33,2)19say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the stick of Judah,[5] and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand. (Hes 37,16; Hes 37,17)20When the sticks on which you write are in your hand before their eyes, (Hes 12,3)21then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. (Hes 11,17; Hes 36,24; Hes 37,25)22And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. (Jer 50,4; Hes 6,2; Hes 34,24; Hes 35,10; Hes 37,17; Hes 37,24)23They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings[6] in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. (2Mo 29,45; 3Mo 26,12; Hes 14,11; Hes 34,24; Hes 34,30; Hes 36,25; Hes 36,29; 2Kor 6,16; Offb 21,3)24“My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes. (Jer 23,5; Hes 34,23; Hes 36,27; Hes 37,22)25They shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children shall dwell there forever, and David my servant shall be their prince forever. (Jes 60,21; Hes 28,25; Joe 3,20; Am 9,15; Joh 12,34)26I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land[7] and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore. (Jes 55,3; Hes 11,16; Hes 34,25; Hes 36,10; Hes 37,28; Hes 43,7)27My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (3Mo 26,11; Hes 37,23; Offb 21,3)28Then the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.” (Hes 20,12; Hes 36,23; Hes 37,26)

Когда я пророчествовал, раздался шум, постукивание, и кости начали сходиться – кость с костью.8Я видел, как на них появились сухожилия и плоть, и как их покрыла кожа, но в них не было дыхания.9Тогда Он сказал мне: – Пророчествуй дыханию. Пророчествуй, смертный, и скажи ему: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Приди с четырёх ветров, о дыхание, и дохни на этих убитых, чтобы они ожили».10Я начал пророчествовать, как Он повелел мне, и в них вошло дыхание. Они ожили и встали на ноги, это несметное войско.11Тогда Он сказал мне: – Смертный, эти кости – весь народ Исраила. Они говорят: «Наши кости высохли, и надежда исчезла. Пришёл наш конец».12Поэтому пророчествуй и скажи им: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Мой народ, Я открою ваши могилы и подниму вас из них. Я приведу вас в землю Исраила.13И вы, Мой народ, узнаете, что Я – Вечный, когда Я открою ваши могилы и выведу вас из них.14Я вложу в вас Моё дыхание[2], и вы будете жить, а Я поселю вас в вашей земле. Тогда вы узнаете, что Я, Вечный, сказал это и исполнил», – возвещает Вечный.
Объединение Иудеи и Исраила
15Было ко мне слово Вечного:16– Смертный, возьми деревянный брусок и напиши на нём: «Иудея и исраильтяне, что с ней в союзе». Потом возьми другой брусок, брусок Ефраима, и напиши на нём: «Юсуф и все исраильтяне, что с ним в союзе».17Приложи их один к другому, чтобы у тебя в руке они стали единым целым.18Когда твои соплеменники спросят тебя: «Не объяснишь ли нам, что это значит?» –19скажи им: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я возьму брусок Юсуфа и исраильских родов, что с ним в союзе (он в руке Ефраима), и приложу к бруску Иудеи, сделав из них один брусок, и в Моей руке они станут единым целым».20Держи перед глазами бруски, на которых ты сделал надпись,21и скажи им: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я выведу исраильтян из народов, к которым они ушли, соберу их отовсюду и приведу в их землю.22В этой земле, на горах Исраила, Я сделаю их одним народом. У них будет один царь, и они не будут больше двумя народами и не разделятся впредь на два царства.23Они больше не станут оскверняться ни идолами, ни гнусными истуканами, ни другими своими преступлениями. Я спасу их от всего их отступничества, в которое они впали[3], и очищу их. Они будут Моим народом, а Я буду их Богом.24Мой раб Давуд[4] станет их царём, и у них у всех будет один пастух. Они будут следовать Моим законам и бережно исполнять Мои установления. (Hes 34,23)25Они будут жить в земле, которую Я отдал Моему рабу Якубу, в земле, где жили их предки. Они сами, их дети и дети их детей будут жить там вечно, и Мой раб Давуд будет их правителем навеки.26Я заключу с ними соглашение мира; это соглашение будет вечным.
