1 Os que confiam no SENHOR são como o monte Sião, que não se pode abalar, mas permanece para sempre. 2 Como os montes cercam Jerusalém, assim o SENHOR protege o seu povo, desde agora e para sempre. 3 O cetro dos ímpios não prevalecerá sobre a terra dada aos justos; se assim fosse, até os justos praticariam a injustiça. 4 SENHOR, trata com bondade os que fazem o bem, os que têm coração íntegro. 5 Mas, aos que se desviam por caminhos tortuosos, o SENHOR infligirá o castigo dado aos malfeitores. Haja paz em Israel!

1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. (Sl 25:2; Sl 25:3; Sl 93:1; Sl 104:5; Pv 10:30) 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. (2 Rs 6:17; Zc 2:5) 3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to do wrong. (Gn 3:22; Ex 22:8; Sl 16:5; Is 14:5; Is 30:30) 4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts! (Sl 7:10; Sl 119:68) 5 But those who turn aside to their crooked ways the LORD will lead away with evildoers! Peace be upon Israel! (Sl 40:4; Sl 92:7; Sl 92:9; Sl 94:4; Sl 128:6; Pv 2:15; Gl 6:16)
