Să strige de bucurie în așternuturile lor!6Fie ca proslăvirea lui Dumnezeu să fie în gura lor, și sabia cu două tăișuri în mâna lor,7ca să se răzbune pe neamuri, să pedepsească popoarele,8să le lege regii cu lanțuri, și nobilii cu obezi de fier,9și să împlinească astfel judecata scrisă. Aceasta este o cinste pentru toți credincioșii Săi! Lăudați‑L pe DOMNUL!

(1 Sam 12:12; Iov 35:10; Ps 85:6; Ps 95:6; Zah 9:9)3Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! (Ex 15:20; Ps 30:11; Ps 150:3; Ps 150:4)4For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. (Ps 35:27; Ps 147:11; Is 61:3)5Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. (Iov 35:10; Ps 4:4; Ps 63:6; Os 7:14)6Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, (Ps 66:17; Prov 5:4; Ev 4:12; Apo 1:16; Apo 2:12)7to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples,8to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, (Iov 36:8)9to execute on them the judgment written!
