de la Biblica1Lăudați‑L pe DOMNUL![1] Mulțumiți DOMNULUI, căci este bun, căci în veac ține îndurarea[2] Lui!2Cine poate spune toate isprăvile DOMNULUI? Cine poate vesti toată lauda Sa?3Ferice de cei care păzesc ce este drept și care înfăptuiesc dreptatea tot timpul.4Adu‑Ți aminte de mine, DOAMNE, în bunăvoința Ta față de poporul Tău! Apropie‑Te de mine cu mântuirea Ta,5ca să văd bunăstarea aleșilor Tăi, să mă bucur de bucuria poporului Tău și să Te laud împreună cu moștenirea Ta.6Noi am păcătuit ca și părinții noștri, am săvârșit nelegiuire, am făcut rău.7În timp ce erau în Egipt, părinții noștri n‑au luat aminte la minunile Tale; nu și‑au amintit de mulțimea îndurărilor Tale și s‑au răzvrătit când au ajuns la mare, la Marea Roșie[3]. (1 Re 9:26; Iona 2:5)8Totuși, El i‑a izbăvit datorită Numelui Său, ca să‑Și descopere puterea.9A mustrat Marea Roșie și aceasta s‑a uscat; apoi i‑a condus prin adâncuri sterpe ca pustia.10I‑a izbăvit din mâna celui ce‑i ura și i‑a răscumpărat din mâna dușmanului.11Apele i‑au acoperit pe vrăjmașii lor, fără ca vreunul din ei să scape.12Atunci I‑au crezut cuvintele și I‑au cântat laudă.13Dar au uitat curând lucrările Lui; nu I‑au așteptat sfatul.14Li s‑au aprins poftele în pustie și L‑au pus la încercare[4] pe Dumnezeu în pustietate. (Gen 22:1; Ex 15:25; Ex 16:4; Ex 17:2; Ex 17:7; Mat 4:1; Mar 1:13; Lu 4:2)15El le‑a îndeplinit cererea, dar a trimis o boală nimicitoare peste ei.16În tabără au fost geloși pe Moise și pe Aaron, cel sfințit DOMNULUI.17Pământul s‑a deschis, l‑a înghițit pe Datan și a acoperit comunitatea lui Abiram.18Focul le‑a consumat comunitatea; flăcările i‑au mistuit pe cei răi.19La Horeb și‑au făcut un vițel și s‑au închinat chipului turnat.20Au schimbat Slava lor cu asemănarea unui bou care mănâncă iarbă.21L‑au uitat pe Dumnezeu, Mântuitorul lor, pe Cel Ce făcuse lucruri mari în Egipt,22minuni în țara lui Ham, lucruri de temut la Marea Roșie.23Astfel, El a spus că o să‑i nimicească, însă Moise, alesul Său, a stat în spărtură înaintea Lui, ca să‑I abată mânia de la distrugere.24Apoi au respins țara cea plăcută; ei n‑au crezut în cuvântul Lui.25Au cârtit în corturile lor și nu au ascultat de glasul DOMNULUI.26Atunci, El a jurat cu mâna ridicată[5] că îi va face să cadă în pustie,27că le va face sămânța să cadă printre neamuri și‑i va împrăștia printre alte țări.28S‑au alipit de BAAL-PEOR și au mâncat jertfe închinate morților[6].29L‑au mâniat prin faptele lor, astfel încât o urgie a izbucnit printre ei.30Dar s‑a ridicat Fineas, a făcut judecată și urgia s‑a oprit.31Lucrul acesta i‑a fost considerat dreptate, din generație în generație, pe vecie.32L‑au mâniat la apele Meriba, iar din cauza lor i‑a mers rău lui Moise.33Căci s‑au răzvrătit împotriva Duhului Său, iar Moise a vorbit necugetat cu buzele lui.[7]34Ei nu au nimicit popoarele despre care le spusese DOMNUL,35ci s‑au amestecat cu neamurile și s‑au deprins cu faptele acestora.36Au slujit idolilor lor, iar aceștia au devenit o cursă pentru ei.37Și‑au jertfit fiii și fiicele în cinstea demonilor.38Au vărsat sânge nevinovat, sângele fiilor și al fiicelor lor, jertfindu‑i idolilor Canaanului, și au spurcat țara din cauza sângelui.39S‑au întinat prin faptele lor și s‑au prostituat prin lucrările lor.40Atunci s‑a aprins mânia DOMNULUI împotriva poporului Său și Și‑a urât moștenirea.41I‑a dat pe mâna neamurilor și astfel cei ce îi urau au stăpânit peste ei.42Dușmanii lor i‑au asuprit și au fost umiliți sub mâna lor.43El i‑a scăpat de multe ori, dar ei se răzvrăteau prin planurile lor. S‑au nenorocit prin nelegiuirea lor.44El a privit la strâmtorarea lor când le‑a auzit strigătele.45Pentru ei Și‑a adus aminte de legământul Lui. I s‑a făcut milă de ei datorită mulțimii îndurărilor Sale46și a făcut ca aceștia să capete milă din partea tuturor celor ce‑i luaseră captivi.47DOAMNE, Dumnezeul nostru, izbăvește‑ne! Strânge‑ne dintre neamuri ca să aducem mulțumiri Numelui Tău cel sfânt și să ne fălim aducându‑Ți laudă.48Binecuvântat să fie DOMNUL, Dumnezeul lui Israel, din veșnicie în veșnicie! Tot poporul să zică: „Amin!“ Lăudați‑L pe DOMNUL!

(Ps 15:2)4Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them,[1] (Ps 119:132)5that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance. (Ps 105:6; Ps 105:43)6Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. (Lev 26:40; 1 Re 8:47; Ezra 9:6; Ne 1:6; Ne 9:16; Ps 79:8; Ier 3:25; Ier 14:20; Dan 9:5)7Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. (Ex 14:11; Ps 106:13; Ps 106:21)8Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power. (Ex 9:16; Ez 20:9; Ez 20:14)9He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry, and he led them through the deep as through a desert. (Ex 14:21; Ps 18:15; Ps 104:7; Is 50:2; Is 51:10; Is 63:13)10So he saved them from the hand of the foe and redeemed them from the power of the enemy. (Ex 14:30; Ps 107:2)11And the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. (Ex 14:28; Ex 15:5)12Then they believed his words; they sang his praise. (Ex 14:31; Ex 15:1)13But they soon forgot his works; they did not wait for his counsel. (Ex 15:24; Ex 16:2; Ex 17:2; Ps 78:11; Ps 107:11)14But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness, and put God to the test in the desert; (Ex 17:2; Num 11:4; Ps 78:18; 1 Cor 10:6; 1 Cor 10:9)15he gave them what they asked, but sent a wasting disease among them. (Ps 78:29; Is 10:16)16When men in the camp were jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy one of the Lord, (Num 16:1; Deut 33:2; Zah 14:5; Iuda 1:14)17the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. (Num 16:31; Deut 11:6)18Fire also broke out in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. (Num 16:35)19They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a metal image. (Ex 32:4; Deut 9:8; Fapte 7:41)20They exchanged the glory of God[2] for the image of an ox that eats grass. (Ier 2:11; Ro 1:23)21They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, (Deut 32:18; Ps 78:11; Ps 106:7; Ps 106:13)22wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea. (Ps 78:51; Ps 105:23; Ps 105:27)23Therefore he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them. (Ex 32:10; Deut 9:14; Ps 105:6; Ez 20:8; Ez 22:30)24Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise. (Num 14:31; Deut 1:32; Deut 9:23; Zah 7:14)25They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the Lord. (Num 14:2; Deut 1:27)26Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them that he would make them fall in the wilderness, (Ex 6:8; Num 14:30; Deut 32:40; Ps 95:11; Ez 20:6; Ez 20:15; Ez 20:23)27and would make their offspring fall among the nations, scattering them among the lands. (Ps 44:11)28Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead; (Num 25:3; Is 8:19; Os 9:10)29they provoked the Lord to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.30Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed. (Num 25:7)31And that was counted to him as righteousness from generation to generation forever. (Gen 15:6; Num 25:10)32They angered him at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account, (Num 20:2; Deut 1:37)33for they made his spirit bitter,[3] and he spoke rashly with his lips. (Num 20:10; Ps 78:40; Ps 107:11; Is 63:10)34They did not destroy the peoples, as the Lord commanded them, (Deut 7:2; Deut 7:16; Jud 1:21; Jud 1:27; Jud 2:2)35but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did. (Jud 3:5; Ezra 9:2)36They served their idols, which became a snare to them. (Ex 23:33; Deut 7:16; Jud 2:3)37They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; (Deut 32:17; 2 Re 16:3; Is 57:5; Ez 16:20; Ez 20:26; 1 Cor 10:20)38they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. (Is 24:5)39Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds. (Ps 73:27; Ez 20:18; Ez 20:30)40Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage; (Jud 2:14; Ps 28:9; Ps 78:59; Ps 78:62)41he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. (Ne 9:27)42Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. (Jud 4:3; Jud 10:12)43Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity. (Lev 26:39; Jud 2:16; Ps 81:12)44Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. (Jud 3:9; Jud 4:3; Jud 6:7; Jud 10:10)45For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. (Lev 26:42; Ps 51:1; Ps 69:16; Ps 90:13; Ps 105:8; Ps 106:7; Is 63:7; Pl 3:32)46He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive. (1 Re 8:50; 2 Cro 30:9; Ezra 9:9; Ne 1:11; Ier 42:12)47Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. (1 Cro 16:35; Ps 107:3)48Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord! (Ps 41:13; Ps 104:35)
