1На небе появилось поразительное знамение – женщина, одетая в солнце, у которой под ногами была луна, а на голове – венец из двенадцати звезд[1]. (Быт 37:9)2Она была беременна и кричала от боли, потому что у нее начались родовые схватки.3Потом на небе появилось другое знамение – огромный красный дракон с семью головами, десятью рогами и с семью венцами на головах[2]. (Дан 7:7; Дан 7:24)4Его хвост увлек с небес третью часть звезд и сбросил их на землю. Дракон встал перед рожавшей женщиной, чтобы сразу проглотить ее ребенка, как только тот родится.5Женщина родила сына, младенца мужского пола, которому предстоит править всеми народами железным скипетром, и ребенок был взят к Богу и Его трону.6А женщина убежала в пустыню, в место, приготовленное для нее Богом, и там ее кормили в течение тысячи двухсот шестидесяти дней.7На небе началась война. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. (Дан 8:10; Мф 2:16; Откр 8:7)5She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule[1] all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, (Мф 2:6; 2Кор 12:2; Откр 2:27)6and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days. Satan Thrown Down to Earth
7Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, (Мф 25:41; Иуд 1:9)8but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.9And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. (Откр 12:5)14But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. (Исх 19:4; Дан 7:25; Дан 12:7; Откр 12:6)15The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood. (Ис 59:19)16But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth.17Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
