1О нет, не коротка рука Господня, чтобы спасать, и не туго ухо Его, чтобы слышать.2Но ваши беззакония отделили вас от Бога; грехи ваши скрыли от вас лицо Его, так что Он не слышит.3Руки ваши запятнаны кровью, пальцы ваши – грехом. Всякий, кто поест их яиц, умрет, а из раздавленного выползет гадюка.6В их паутину нельзя одеться; они не могут покрыть себя тем, что делают. Дела их – дела злые, и в руках их – насилие.7Их ноги спешат ко греху; быстры на пролитие невинной крови. Мысли их – мысли злые; где они прошли – там опустошение и гибель.8Им неизвестен путь к миру; нет правосудия на их стезях. Дороги свои они искривили, никто из идущих по ним не знает мира.9Поэтому правосудие далеко от нас, и праведность нас не достигает. Наши преступления всегда с нами, и наши беззакония мы признаем:13отступничество и ложь перед Господом, отказ следовать нашему Богу, призыв к угнетению и мятежу, слова лжи, зачатой в наших сердцах.14Итак, справедливость оттеснена назад, и праведность встала поодаль. Истина споткнулась на улицах, честность войти не может.15Истины не стало, и всякий отворачивающийся от зла делается добычей. Господь посмотрел, и было Ему неугодно, что нет справедливости.16Он увидел, что нет никого, и был потрясен, что вступиться некому. Тогда рука Его принесла Ему победу, и Его праведность поддержала Его.17Он надел праведность, как броню, и на голову – шлем спасения; Он оделся в одежды мщения и, как в плащ, завернулся в ярость.18По делам их воздаст Он: гнев – врагам и возмездие – Своим неприятелям; Он воздаст островам по заслугам.19На западе люди будут бояться имени Господа, и на востоке они будут чтить Его славу, потому что придет Он, как бушующая река, гонимая Господним вихрем[2].20– Искупитель придет на Сион, к тем в Иакове, кто раскается в грехах, – возвещает Господь.21– Что до Меня, то вот Мой завет с ними, – говорит Господь. – Мой Дух на тебе, и слова, которые Я вложил в твои уста, не сойдут ни с твоих уст, ни с уст твоих детей, ни с уст их потомков отныне и вовеки, – говорит Господь.
1Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; (Чис 11:23; Ис 50:2)2but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. (Иер 5:25)3For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies; your tongue mutters wickedness. (Ис 1:15)4No one enters suit justly; no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies, they conceive mischief and give birth to iniquity. Their works are works of iniquity, and deeds of violence are in their hands. (Иов 8:14)7Their feet run to evil, and they are swift to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their highways. (Ис 48:22; Ис 57:21)9Therefore justice is far from us, and righteousness does not overtake us; we hope for light, and behold, darkness, and for brightness, but we walk in gloom. (Ис 59:11; Ис 60:2)10We grope for the wall like the blind; we grope like those who have no eyes; we stumble at noon as in the twilight, among those in full vigor we are like dead men. (Ис 38:14; Ис 46:13; Ис 56:1; Ис 59:9)12For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and we know our iniquities:13transgressing, and denying the Lord, and turning back from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart lying words. Judgment and Redemption
14Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter. (Ис 51:4)15Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The Lord saw it, and it displeased him[1] that there was no justice.16He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no one to intercede; then his own arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness upheld him. (Ис 51:18; Ис 63:5)17He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head; he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and wrapped himself in zeal as a cloak. (Ис 9:7; Еф 6:13; 1Фес 5:8)18According to their deeds, so will he repay, wrath to his adversaries, repayment to his enemies; to the coastlands he will render repayment. (Ис 41:1; Ис 41:5; Ис 63:4; Ис 63:6)19So they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream,[2] which the wind of the Lord drives. (Пс 113:3; Ис 30:27)20“And a Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,” declares the Lord.
