Sovranità di Dio

1 Al direttore del coro. Dei figli di Core. Salmo. Battete le mani, o popoli tutti; acclamate Dio con grida di gioia! 2 Poiché il Signore, l’Altissimo, è tremendo, re supremo su tutta la terra. 3 Egli sottomette i popoli a noi e pone le nazioni sotto i nostri piedi. 4 Egli ha scelto per noi la nostra eredità, gloria di Giacobbe che egli ama. [Pausa] 5 Dio sale tra grida di trionfo, il Signore sale al suono di trombe. 6 Cantate a Dio, cantate; cantate al nostro re, cantate! 7 Poiché Dio è re di tutta la terra; cantategli un inno solenne. 8 Dio regna sui popoli; Dio siede sul suo trono santo. 9 I capi dei popoli si riuniscono insieme al popolo del Dio di Abraamo; perché a Dio appartengono i potenti della terra; egli è l’Altissimo.

1 Dem Chorleiter. Ein Psalmlied von den Söhnen Korachs. 2 Ihr Völker alle, klatscht in die Hände! / Lobt Gott und lasst euren Jubel laut hören! 3 Denn Jahwe, der Höchste, ist aller Ehren wert, / ein großer König über die ganze Welt. 4 Er hat uns Völker unterstellt, / uns ganze Nationen zu Füßen gelegt. 5 Er hat für uns das Erbland ausgewählt, / den Stolz der Nachkommen Jakobs, die er liebt. ♪ 6 Im Jauchzen stieg Gott hinauf, / im Schall des Schofar-Horns, Jahwe. 7 Singt, lobsingt zu Gottes Ehre, / singt, lobsingt unserem König! 8 Denn Gott ist König der ganzen Erde, / singt ihm euer schönstes Lied!^[1] 9 Gott ist König über die Völker; / Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron. 10 Die Großen der Völker kommen herbei / als Volk des Gottes Abrahams, / denn Gott gehören die Schilde^[2] der Erde. / Er allein ist über alle erhöht.

1 Aplaudan, pueblos todos; aclamen a Dios con gritos de alegría. 2 ¡Cuán imponente es el Señor Altísimo, el gran rey de toda la tierra! 3 Sometió a nuestro dominio las naciones; puso a los pueblos bajo nuestros pies; 4 escogió para nosotros una heredad que es el orgullo de Jacob, a quien amó. Selah 5 Dios el Señor ha ascendido entre gritos de alegría y toques de trompeta. 6 Canten salmos a Dios, cántenle salmos; canten, cántenle salmos a nuestro rey. 7 Dios es el rey de toda la tierra; por eso, cántenle un salmo solemne.^[1] 8 Dios reina sobre las naciones; Dios está sentado en su santo trono. 9 Los nobles de los pueblos se reúnen con el pueblo del Dios de Abraham, 10 pues de Dios son los imperios de la tierra. ¡Él es grandemente enaltecido!
