Regno di Dio sull’universo

1 Il Signore regna; egli si è rivestito di maestà; il Signore si è rivestito, si è cinto di forza; il mondo quindi è stabile, e non sarà scosso. 2 Il tuo trono è saldo dai tempi antichi, tu esisti dall’eternità. 3 I fiumi hanno alzato, o Signore, i fiumi hanno alzato la loro voce; i fiumi elevano il loro fragore. 4 Più delle voci delle grandi, delle potenti acque, più dei flutti del mare, il Signore è potente nei luoghi altissimi. 5 I tuoi statuti sono perfettamente stabili; la santità si addice alla tua casa, o Signore, per sempre.

1 Der HERR ist König und herrlich gekleidet; / der HERR ist gekleidet und umgürtet mit Kraft. Fest steht der Erdkreis, dass er nicht wankt. (Eso 15,18; Sal 47,8; Sal 96,10; Sal 97,1; Sal 98,6; Sal 99,1; Sal 146,10)

2 Von Anbeginn steht dein Thron fest; du bist ewig. 3 HERR, die Fluten erheben, / die Fluten erheben die Stimme, die Fluten erheben ihr Brausen. 4 Mächtiger als das Tosen großer Wasser, mächtiger als die Wellen des Meeres ist der HERR in der Höhe. 5 Deine Zeugnisse sind wahrhaftig und gewiss; Heiligkeit ist die Zierde deines Hauses, HERR, für alle Zeit.

1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. 2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. 3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. 4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. 5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

1 El Señor reina, revestido de esplendor; el Señor se ha revestido de grandeza y ha desplegado su poder. Ha establecido el mundo con firmeza; jamás será removido. 2 Desde el principio se estableció tu trono, y tú desde siempre has existido. 3 Se levantan las aguas, Señor; se levantan las aguas con estruendo; se levantan las aguas y sus batientes olas. 4 Pero el Señor, en las alturas, se muestra poderoso: más poderoso que el estruendo de las muchas aguas, más poderoso que los embates del mar. 5 Dignos de confianza son, Señor, tus estatutos; ¡la santidad es para siempre el adorno de tu casa!
