Dio, nostro rifugio e nostra forza

1 Al direttore del coro. Dei figli di Core. Per voci di soprano. Canto. Dio è per noi un rifugio e una forza, un aiuto sempre pronto nelle difficoltà. 

2 Perciò non temiamo se la terra è sconvolta, se i monti si smuovono in mezzo al mare, 

3 se le sue acque rumoreggiano, schiumano e si gonfiano, facendo tremare i monti. [Pausa] 

4 C’è un fiume i cui ruscelli rallegrano la città di Dio, il luogo santo della dimora dell’Altissimo. 

5 Dio si trova in essa: non potrà vacillare. Dio la soccorrerà al primo chiarore del mattino. 

6 Le nazioni rumoreggiano, i regni vacillano; egli fa udire la sua voce, la terra si scioglie. 

7 Il Signore degli eserciti è con noi, il Dio di Giacobbe è il nostro rifugio. [Pausa] 

8 Venite, guardate le opere del Signore, egli fa sulla terra cose stupende. 

9 Fa cessare le guerre fino all’estremità della terra; rompe gli archi, spezza le lance, brucia i carri da guerra. 

10 «Fermatevi», dice, «e riconoscete che io sono Dio. Io sarò glorificato fra le nazioni, sarò glorificato sulla terra». 

11 Il Signore degli eserciti è con noi; il Dio di Giacobbe è il nostro rifugio. [Pausa]

Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott

1 Ein Lied der Korachiter, vorzusingen, nach der Weise »Junge Frauen«. 

2 Gott ist unsre Zuversicht und Stärke, eine Hilfe in den großen Nöten, die uns getroffen haben. 

3 Darum fürchten wir uns nicht, wenngleich die Welt unterginge und die Berge mitten ins Meer sänken, 

4 wenngleich das Meer wütete und wallte und von seinem Ungestüm die Berge einfielen. Sela. 

5 Dennoch soll die Stadt Gottes fein lustig bleiben mit ihren Brünnlein, da die heiligen Wohnungen des Höchsten sind. (Is 12,3) 

6 Gott ist bei ihr drinnen, darum wird sie fest bleiben; Gott hilft ihr früh am Morgen. 

7 Die Völker müssen verzagen und die Königreiche fallen, das Erdreich muss vergehen, wenn er sich hören lässt. 

8 Der HERR Zebaoth ist mit uns, der Gott Jakobs ist unser Schutz. Sela. 

9 Kommt her und schauet die Werke des HERRN, der auf Erden solch ein Zerstören anrichtet, (2Re 19,35) 

10 der den Kriegen ein Ende macht in aller Welt, der Bogen zerbricht, Spieße zerschlägt und Wagen mit Feuer verbrennt. (Sal 76,4) 

11 Seid stille und erkennet, dass ich Gott bin! Ich will mich erheben unter den Völkern, ich will mich erheben auf Erden. 

12 Der HERR Zebaoth ist mit uns, der Gott Jakobs ist unser Schutz. Sela.

King James Version

1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 

7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 

8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 

11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

1 Dios es nuestro amparo y nuestra fortaleza, nuestra ayuda segura en momentos de angustia. 

2 Por eso, no temeremos aunque se desmorone la tierra y las montañas se hundan en el fondo del mar; 

3 aunque rujan y se encrespen sus aguas, y ante su furia retiemblen los montes. Selah 

4 Hay un río cuyas corrientes alegran la ciudad de Dios, la santa habitación del Altísimo. 

5 Dios está en ella, la ciudad no caerá; al rayar el alba Dios le brindará su ayuda. 

6 Se agitan las naciones, se tambalean los reinos; Dios deja oír su voz, y la tierra se derrumba. 

7 El Señor Todopoderoso está con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. Selah 

8 Vengan y vean los portentos del Señor; él ha traído desolación sobre la tierra. 

9 Ha puesto fin a las guerras en todos los confines de la tierra; ha quebrado los arcos, ha destrozado las lanzas, ha arrojado los carros al fuego. 

10 «Quédense quietos, reconozcan que yo soy Dios. ¡Yo seré exaltado entre las naciones! ¡Yo seré enaltecido en la tierra!»
