Ricordo delle liberazioni del passato

1 Quando Israele uscì dall’Egitto e la casa di Giacobbe da un popolo di lingua straniera, 2 Giuda divenne il santuario del Signore e Israele il suo dominio. 3 Il mare lo vide e fuggì, il Giordano si volse indietro. 4 I monti saltellarono come montoni, i colli come agnelli. 5 Che avevi tu, o mare, per fuggire? E tu, Giordano, perché tornasti indietro? 6 E voi, monti, perché saltellaste come montoni e voi, colli, come agnelli? 7 Trema, o terra, alla presenza del Signore, alla presenza del Dio di Giacobbe, 8 che mutò la roccia in lago, il macigno in sorgente d’acqua.

Gottes Wunder beim Auszug aus Ägypten

1 Als Israel aus Ägypten zog, das Haus Jakob aus dem fremden Volk, (Eso 12,41) 2 da wurde Juda sein Heiligtum, Israel sein Königreich. (Eso 19,6) 3 Das Meer sah es und floh, der Jordan wandte sich zurück. (Eso 14,21; Gios 3,13; Gios 3,16) 4 Die Berge hüpften wie die Widder, die Hügel wie die jungen Schafe. 5 Was war mit dir, du Meer, dass du flohest, und mit dir, Jordan, dass du dich zurückwandtest? (Gios 4,23) 6 Ihr Berge, dass ihr hüpftet wie die Widder, ihr Hügel, wie die jungen Schafe? 7 Vor dem Herrn erbebe, du Erde, vor dem Gott Jakobs, (Eso 19,18) 8 der den Felsen wandelte in einen See und Gestein zur Wasserquelle! (Eso 17,6)

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. 3 The sea saw it , and fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; 8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

1 Cuando Israel, el pueblo de Jacob, salió de Egipto, de un pueblo extraño, 2 Judá se convirtió en el santuario de Dios; Israel llegó a ser su dominio. 3 Al ver esto, el mar huyó; el Jordán se volvió atrás. 4 Las montañas saltaron como carneros, los cerros saltaron como ovejas. 5 ¿Qué te pasó, mar, que huiste, y a ti, Jordán, que te volviste atrás? 6 ¿Y a ustedes montañas, que saltaron como carneros? ¿Y a ustedes cerros, que saltaron como ovejas? 7 ¡Tiembla, oh tierra, ante el Señor, tiembla ante el Dios de Jacob! 8 ¡Él convirtió la roca en un estanque, el pedernal en manantiales de agua!
