Preghiera e ringraziamento

1 Canto. Salmo di Davide. Il mio cuore è ben disposto, o Dio, io canterò e salmeggerò con riverenza. 2 Destatevi, saltèrio e cetra, io voglio risvegliare l’alba. 3 Ti celebrerò tra i popoli, o Signore, e a te salmeggerò fra le nazioni. 4 Perché la tua bontà giunge fino ai cieli e la tua fedeltà fino alle nuvole. 5 Innàlzati, o Dio, al di sopra dei cieli, risplenda su tutta la terra la tua gloria! 6 Perché quelli che ami siano liberati, salvaci con la tua destra e ascoltaci. 7 Dio ha parlato nel suo santuario: «Io trionferò, dividerò Sichem e misurerò la valle di Succot. 8 Mio è Galaad, mio è Manasse, Efraim è l’elmo del mio capo, Giuda è il mio scettro. 9 Moab è il catino dove mi lavo; sopra Edom getterò il mio sandalo; sulla Filistia proromperò in grida di trionfo». 10 Chi mi guiderà alla città forte? Chi mi condurrà fino in Edom? 11 Non sei forse tu, o Dio, che ci hai respinti e non esci più, o Dio, con i nostri eserciti? 12 Aiutaci a uscire dalle difficoltà, perché vano è il soccorso dell’uomo. 13 Con Dio noi faremo cose grandi ed egli schiaccerà i nostri nemici.

1 Ein Lied. Ein Psalm Davids. 2 Gott, mein Herz ist bereit, ich will singen und spielen. Wach auf, meine Seele^[1]! (Sal 57,8) 3 Wach auf, Psalter und Harfe! Ich will das Morgenrot wecken. 4 Ich will dir danken, HERR, unter den Völkern, ich will dir lobsingen unter den Leuten. 5 Denn deine Gnade reicht, so weit der Himmel ist, und deine Treue, so weit die Wolken gehen. (Sal 36,6; Sal 57,11) 6 Erhebe dich, Gott, über den Himmel und deine Ehre über alle Lande! 7 Lass deine Freunde errettet werden, dazu hilf mit deiner Rechten und erhöre mich! (Sal 60,7) 8 Gott hat in seinem Heiligtum geredet: Ich will frohlocken; ich will Sichem verteilen und das Tal Sukkot ausmessen. 9 Gilead ist mein, Manasse ist auch mein, / und Ephraim ist der Schutz meines Haupts, Juda ist mein Fürst. 10 Moab ist mein Waschbecken, / ich will meinen Schuh auf Edom werfen, über die Philister will ich jauchzen. 11 Wer wird mich führen in die feste Stadt? Wer wird mich nach Edom leiten? 12 Wirst du es nicht tun, Gott, der du uns verstoßen hast, und ziehst nicht aus, Gott, mit unserm Heer? 13 Schaff uns Beistand vor dem Feind; denn Menschenhilfe ist nichts nütze. 14 Mit Gott wollen wir Taten tun. Er wird unsre Feinde niedertreten.

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. 2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. 3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. 4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. 5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; 6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me. 7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. 8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; 9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. 10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? 11 Wilt not thou , O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? 12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. 13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

1 Firme está, oh Dios, mi corazón; ¡voy a cantarte salmos, gloria mía! 2 ¡Despierten, arpa y lira! ¡Haré despertar al nuevo día! 3 Te alabaré, Señor, entre los pueblos; te cantaré salmos entre las naciones. 4 Pues tu amor es tan grande que rebasa los cielos; ¡tu verdad llega hasta el firmamento! 5 Tú, oh Dios, estás sobre los cielos, y tu gloria cubre toda la tierra. 6 Líbranos con tu diestra, respóndeme para que tu pueblo amado quede a salvo. 7 Dios ha dicho en su santuario: «Triunfante repartiré a Siquén, y dividiré el valle de Sucot. 8 Mío es Galaad, mío es Manasés; Efraín es mi yelmo y Judá mi cetro. 9 En Moab me lavo las manos, sobre Edom arrojo mi sandalia; sobre Filistea lanzo gritos de triunfo.» 10 ¿Quién me llevará a la ciudad fortificada? ¿Quién me mostrará el camino a Edom? 11 ¿No es Dios quien nos ha rechazado? ¡Ya no sales, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos! 12 Bríndanos tu ayuda contra el enemigo, pues de nada sirve la ayuda humana. 13 Con Dios obtendremos la victoria; ¡él pisoteará a nuestros enemigos!
