Lode suprema a Dio

1 Alleluia. Lodate Dio nel suo santuario, lodatelo nella distesa dove risplende la sua potenza. 

2 Lodatelo per le sue gesta, lodatelo secondo la sua somma grandezza. 

3 Lodatelo con il suono della tromba, lodatelo con il saltèrio e la cetra. 

4 Lodatelo con il timpano e le danze, lodatelo con gli strumenti a corda e con il flauto. 

5 Lodatelo con cembali risonanti, lodatelo con cembali squillanti. 

6 Ogni creatura che respira lodi il Signore. Alleluia.

Let Everything Praise the Lord

1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! (Sal 11,4; Sal 68,34; Sal 134,2; Sal 148,14) 

2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! (De 3,24; Sal 145,12) 

3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! (Sal 33,2; Sal 71,22; Sal 98,6) 

4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! (Giob 21,12; Sal 45,8; Sal 149,3; Is 38,20) 

5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! (2Sam 6,5; 1Cr 15,16; 1Cr 15,19; 1Cr 15,28; 1Cr 25,1; 1Cr 25,6)
