Dio, Re giusto e santo

1 Il Signore regna: tremino i popoli. Egli siede sui cherubini: la terra è scossa. 2 Il Signore è grande in Sion, eccelso sopra tutti i popoli. 3 Lodino essi il tuo nome grande e tremendo. Egli è santo. 4 Lodino la forza del Re che ama la giustizia; sei tu che hai stabilito il diritto, che hai esercitato in Giacobbe il giudizio e la giustizia. 5 Esaltate il Signore, il nostro Dio, e prostratevi davanti allo sgabello dei suoi piedi. Egli è santo. 6 Mosè e Aaronne tra i suoi sacerdoti, e Samuele fra quanti invocavano il suo nome, invocarono il Signore, ed egli rispose loro. 7 Parlò loro dalla colonna della nuvola; essi osservarono le sue testimonianze e gli statuti che diede loro. 8 Tu li esaudisti, o Signore, Dio nostro! Fosti per loro un Dio clemente, pur castigandoli per le loro cattive azioni. 9 Esaltate il Signore, il nostro Dio, e adorate sul suo monte santo, perché il Signore, il nostro Dio, è santo.

1 Der HERR ist König! Es zittern die Völker. Er thront auf den Cherubim. Es wankt die Erde. (Eso 25,22; 2Sam 6,2; Sal 80,2; Sal 82,5; Sal 93,1; Sal 96,9)

2 Groß ist der HERR in Zion, und hoch ist er über alle Völker. (Sal 47,3; Is 12,6) 3 Preisen sollen sie deinen Namen, den großen und furchtbaren – heilig ist er! – (Ne 9,5; Sal 103,1; Sal 111,9; Ap 15,4)

4 und die Stärke des Königs, der das Recht liebt! Du hast die Rechtsordnung begründet und hast Recht und Gerechtigkeit in Jakob geschaffen. 1 El Señor es rey: que tiemblen las naciones. Él tiene su trono entre querubines: que se estremezca la tierra. 2 Grande es el Señor en Sión, ¡excelso sobre todos los pueblos! 3 Sea alabado su nombre grandioso e imponente: ¡él es santo! 4 Rey poderoso, que amas la justicia: tú has establecido la equidad y has actuado en Jacob con justicia y rectitud. 5 Exalten al Señor nuestro Dios; adórenlo ante el estrado de sus pies: ¡él es santo! 6 Moisés y Aarón se contaban entre sus sacerdotes, y Samuel, entre los que invocaron su nombre. Invocaron al Señor, y él les respondió; 7 les habló desde la columna de nube. Cumplieron con sus estatutos, con los decretos que él les entregó. 8 Señor y Dios nuestro, tú les respondiste; fuiste para ellos un Dios perdonador, aun cuando castigaste sus rebeliones. 9 Exalten al Señor nuestro Dios; adórenlo en su santo monte: ¡Santo es el Señor nuestro Dios!
