(De 16,16; Is 40,31; 2Co 4,16)9 HERR, Gott der Heerscharen, höre mein Gebet! (Sal 2,12)

1 To the choirmaster: according to The Gittith.[1] A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! (Sal 8,1; Sal 27,4; Sal 42,1; Sal 43,3; Sal 81,1; Sal 132,5)2 My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. (Giob 19,27; Sal 42,1; Sal 42,2; Sal 63,1; Sal 73,26; Sal 119,81; Sal 143,6)3 Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. (Sal 5,2)4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! (Sal 42,5; Sal 42,11; Sal 43,5; Sal 65,4)5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.[2] (Sal 122,1)6 As they go through the Valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools. (Ez 34,26; Gioe 2,23)7 They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion. (Sal 42,2; Prov 4,18; Is 40,31; Giov 1,16; 2Co 3,18)8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! (Sal 59,5)9 Behold our shield, O God; look on the face of your anointed! (Sal 3,3; Sal 80,14)10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. (1Cr 26,19; Sal 84,2)11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Sal 15,2; Sal 27,1; Sal 34,9; Sal 84,9; Sal 85,12; Prov 2,7; Is 60,19; Mal 4,2; Mat 6,33; Mat 7,11; Ap 21,23)12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you! (Sal 2,12)

King James Version

1 To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them .6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
