Salmo 13

(Sal 9,15; Sal 28,7)

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? (Giob 13,24; Sal 10,12; Sal 44,24; Sal 74,19; Sal 74,23; Sal 79,5; Sal 89,46; Lam 5,20; Ap 6,10)2 How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? (Sal 77,6)3 Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, (1Sam 14,27; Esd 9,8; Sal 5,1; Sal 19,8; Sal 119,153; Prov 29,13; Ger 51,39; Ef 1,18)4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. (De 32,27; Sal 10,6)5 But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. (Sal 9,14; Sal 11,1)6 I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.

Salmo 13

King James Version

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
