(2Mo 32,12; Ps 78,38)5Nun wende dich uns wieder zu, Gott unsres Heils, und vergiss deinen Zorn auf uns. (Ps 80,3)6Willst du uns denn für immer zürnen? Willst du deinen Zorn auch auf die künftigen Generationen ausdehnen? (Ps 74,1; Ps 79,5; Ps 80,5)7Willst du uns nicht lieber neues Leben schenken, damit dein Volk sich wieder an dir freuen kann? (Ps 149,2)8Zeige uns deine Liebe, HERR, und schenke uns dein Heil.9Ich höre aufmerksam auf das, was Gott, der HERR, spricht, denn er verheißt seinem Volk, denen, die ihm treu sind, Frieden. Lass nicht zu, dass sie auf ihre verkehrten Wege zurückkehren. (Ps 29,11; Ps 78,57)10Ganz sicher ist sein Heil bei denen, die ihm die Ehre geben; und unser Land wird von seiner Herrlichkeit erfüllt sein. (Ps 84,12; Jes 46,13; Joh 1,14)11Liebe und Wahrheit haben sich verbündet. Gerechtigkeit und Frieden küssen sich! (Ps 72,3; Spr 3,3; Jes 32,17)12Wahrheit wird auf der Erde wachsen und Gerechtigkeit vom Himmel herabschauen. 1LORD, you were good to your land. You blessed the people of Jacob with great success again.2You forgave the evil things your people did. You took away all their sins.3You stopped being angry with them. You turned your great anger away from them.4God our Saviour, make us new again. Stop being unhappy with us.5Will you be angry with us for ever? Will you be angry for all time to come?6Won’t you give us new life again? Then we’ll be joyful because of what you have done.7LORD, show us your faithful love. Save us.8I will listen to what God the LORD says. He promises peace to his faithful people. But they must not turn to foolish ways.9I know he’s ready to save those who have respect for him. Then his glory can be seen in our land.10God’s truth and faithful love join together. His peace and holiness kiss each other.11His truth springs up from the earth. His holiness looks down from heaven.12The LORD will certainly give what is good. Our land will produce its crops.13God’s holiness leads the way in front of him. It prepares the way for his coming.
