1I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.2I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.3Glorify the Lord with me: let us exalt his name together.4I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.5Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.6This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.7The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.8Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.9Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.10The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.11Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.12Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,13keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.14Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.15The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;16but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.17The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.18The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.19The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;20he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.21Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.22The Lord will rescue his servants; no-one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

1Îl voi lăuda pe DOMNUL în orice vreme, lauda Lui va fi întotdeauna în gura mea![1]2Sufletul meu se laudă în DOMNUL; să audă și să se bucure cei smeriți!3Măriți pe DOMNUL împreună cu mine! Să înălțăm cu toții Numele Lui!4Eu L‑am căutat pe DOMNUL, și El mi‑a răspuns; m‑a scăpat de toate temerile mele.5Cei care privesc spre El, se luminează, iar fețele lor nu se rușinează.6Acest sărac a strigat, iar DOMNUL l‑a auzit și l‑a izbăvit din toate necazurile lui.7Îngerul DOMNULUI Își așază tabăra împrejurul celor ce se tem de El, și îi salvează.8Gustați și vedeți că DOMNUL este bun! Ferice de omul care se adăpostește în El!9Temeți‑vă de DOMNUL, voi sfinții Lui, căci cei ce se tem de El nu duc lipsă de nimic!10Puii de leu duc lipsă și flămânzesc, dar cei ce‑L caută pe DOMNUL nu duc lipsă de niciun bine.11Veniți, fiilor! Ascultați‑mă! Vă voi învăța teama de DOMNUL!12Cine este omul care dorește viața, care iubește zilele și vrea să vadă binele?13Păzește‑ți limba de rău, iar buzele tale să nu rostească înșelătoria!14Depărtează‑te de rău și fă binele! Caută pacea și urmărește‑o!15Ochii DOMNULUI sunt peste cei drepți, iar urechile Lui iau aminte la strigătul lor după ajutor.16Fața DOMNULUI este împotriva celor ce săvârșesc răul, ca să le șteargă amintirea de pe pământ.17Când cei drepți strigă, DOMNUL aude și‑i scapă din toate necazurile lor.18DOMNUL este aproape de cei cu inima zdrobită și‑i izbăvește pe cei cu duhul zdrobit.19De multe necazuri are parte cel drept, dar DOMNUL îl scapă din toate.20El îi păzește toate oasele și niciunul măcar nu îi va fi rupt.21Răul va aduce moartea celui nelegiuit, iar cei ce‑l urăsc pe cel drept vor fi pedepsiți.22DOMNUL răscumpără sufletul robilor Săi și niciunul din cei ce se adăpostesc în El nu este pedepsit.
