The Branch of the Lord
2In that day the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel.3Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem.4The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit[1] of judgment and a spirit[2] of fire.5Then the Lord will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over everything the glory[3] will be a canopy.6It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding-place from the storm and rain.

2În ziua aceea, Vlăstarul DOMNULUI va fi frumos și glorios, iar rodul țării va fi măreția și onoarea supraviețuitorilor lui Israel.3Oricine este lăsat în Sion și rămâne în Ierusalim, toți cei înscriși ca fiind vii în Ierusalim, vor fi numiți sfinți.4Odată ce Stăpânul va spăla murdăria fiicelor Sionului și va curăța petele de sânge din Ierusalim printr‑un duh de judecată și unul de foc,5DOMNUL va crea peste întreg muntele Sion și peste cei ce se adună acolo un nor de fum ziua și un foc de flăcări strălucitoare noaptea.
