1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood – two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.[1] 2 He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold moulding around it. 3 He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. 4 Then he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 5 And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. 6 He made the atonement cover of pure gold – two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 7 Then he made two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. 8 He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover. 9 The cherubim had their wings spread upwards, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking towards the cover. 10 They[2] made the table of acacia wood – two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high.[3] 11 Then they overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold moulding around it. 12 They also made around it a rim a handbreadth[4] wide and put a gold moulding on the rim. 13 They cast four gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four corners, where the four legs were. 14 The rings were put close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table. 15 The poles for carrying the table were made of acacia wood and were overlaid with gold. 16 And they made from pure gold the articles for the table – its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings. 17 They made the lampstand of pure gold. They hammered out its base and shaft, and made its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them. 18 Six branches extended from the sides of the lampstand – three on one side and three on the other. 19 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms were on one branch, three on the next branch and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand. 20 And on the lampstand were four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. 21 One bud was under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair – six branches in all. 22 The buds and the branches were all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold. 23 They made its seven lamps, as well as its wick trimmers and trays, of pure gold. 24 They made the lampstand and all its accessories from one talent[5] of pure gold. 25 They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high[6] – its horns of one piece with it. 26 They overlaid the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and made a gold moulding around it. 27 They made two gold rings below the moulding – two on each of the opposite sides – to hold the poles used to carry it. 28 They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 29 They also made the sacred anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense – the work of a perfumer.

1 And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it: 2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about. 3 And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it. 4 And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold. 5 And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark. 6 And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 7 And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat; 8 One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof. 9 And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims. 10 And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof: 11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about. 12 Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about. 13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof. 14 Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table. 15 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table. 16 And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold. 17 And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same: 18 And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof: 19 Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick. 20 And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers: 21 And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it. 22 Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold. 23 And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold. 24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof. 25 And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same. 26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about. 27 And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal. 28 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold. 29 And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.

(Ex 25:10) 2 Und er überzog sie mit reinem Gold inwendig und auswendig, und machte daran einen goldenen Kranz ringsum. (Ex 25:11) 3 Und er goss für sie vier goldene Ringe an ihre vier Ecken, zwei Ringe auf der einen Seite und zwei Ringe auf der anderen Seite. (Ex 25:12; Heb 9:3) 4 Und er stellte Tragstangen aus Akazienholz her und überzog sie mit Gold (Ex 25:13) 5 und steckte die Stangen in die Ringe an den Seiten der Lade, damit man sie tragen konnte. (Ex 25:14) 6 Und er fertigte den Sühnedeckel aus reinem Gold an, zweieinhalb Ellen war seine Länge und anderthalb Ellen seine Breite. (Ex 25:17) 7 Und er fertigte zwei Cherubim aus Gold an; in getriebener Arbeit machte er sie, an den beiden Enden des Sühnedeckels, (Ex 25:18; 1Ki 6:23; Ps 80:2) 8 einen Cherub an dem einen Ende und den anderen Cherub an dem anderen Ende; aus einem Stück mit dem Sühnedeckel machte er die Cherubim an den beiden Enden. (Ex 25:19) 9 Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel darüber aus und schirmten mit ihren Flügeln den Sühnedeckel, und ihre Angesichter waren einander zugewandt; die Angesichter der Cherubim sahen auf den Sühnedeckel. (Ge 3:24; Ex 25:20; Isa 6:2; Eze 10:1) 10 Und er stellte den Tisch aus Akazienholz her; zwei Ellen war seine Länge und eine Elle seine Breite und anderthalb Ellen seine Höhe, (Ex 25:23) 11 und er überzog ihn mit reinem Gold und versah ihn ringsum mit einem goldenen Kranz. (Ex 25:24) 12 Und er brachte an ihm ringsum eine Leiste an, eine Handbreit hoch, und befestigte an seiner Leiste ringsum [wieder] einen goldenen Kranz. (Ex 25:25) 13 Und er goss für ihn vier goldene Ringe und brachte sie an den vier Ecken seiner vier Füße an; (Ex 25:26) 14 dicht unter der Leiste waren die Ringe, zur Aufnahme der Tragstangen, damit man den Tisch tragen konnte. (Ex 25:27) 15 Und er machte die Tragstangen aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold, dass der Tisch damit getragen werden konnte. (Ex 25:28) 16 Und er machte die Geräte auf dem Tisch aus reinem Gold, seine Schüsseln, seine Schalen, seine Opferschalen und seine Kannen, mit denen man [die Trankopfer] ausgießt. (Ex 25:29; 1Ki 7:50) 17 Und er fertigte den Leuchter aus reinem Gold an, in getriebener Arbeit machte er den Leuchter; sein Fuß und sein Schaft, seine Kelche, seine Knäufe und Blüten waren aus einem Stück mit ihm. (Ex 25:33) 20 An dem Schaft des Leuchters aber waren vier Kelche wie Mandelblüten mit seinen Knäufen und Blüten, (Ex 25:34) 21 nämlich ein Knauf unter zwei Armen, und [wieder] ein Knauf unter zwei Armen, und [noch] ein Knauf unter zwei Armen; so bei den sechs Armen, die aus ihm herauskamen. (Ex 25:36) 23 Er machte auch seine sieben Lampen, seine Lichtscheren und seine Löschnäpfe aus reinem Gold. (Ex 25:37; Nu 8:2; Zec 4:2; Re 1:12; Re 1:20) 24 Aus einem Talent reinen Goldes machte er ihn und alle seine Geräte. (Ex 25:39) 25 Er fertigte auch den Räucheraltar aus Akazienholz an, eine Elle lang und eine Elle breit, viereckig, und zwei Ellen hoch, und seine Hörner waren aus einem Stück mit ihm. (Ex 30:1; Heb 9:4) 26 Und er überzog ihn mit reinem Gold, seine Platte und seine Wände ringsum und seine Hörner, und machte für ihn ringsum einen goldenen Kranz; (Ex 30:3) 27 und er machte ihm zwei goldene Ringe unter dem Kranz an seinen beiden Seiten, an seinen beiden Wänden, und sie nahmen die Tragstangen auf, dass man ihn damit tragen konnte. (Ex 30:4) 28 Und die Tragstangen machte er aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold. (Ex 30:5) 29 Und er bereitete das heilige Salböl zu und das reine, wohlriechende Räucherwerk, nach der Kunst des Salbenbereiters. (Ex 30:23; Ex 30:34)

Am Gnadenstuhl arbeitete er die Cherubim heraus für seine beiden Enden. 9 Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel nach oben aus und bedeckten damit den Gnadenstuhl, und sie standen Antlitz gegen Antlitz und sahen auf den Gnadenstuhl. 10 Und er machte den Tisch aus Akazienholz, zwei Ellen lang, eine Elle breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch, (Ex 25:23) 11 und überzog ihn mit feinem Golde und machte ihm einen goldenen Kranz ringsherum 12 und machte ihm eine Leiste ringsherum, eine Handbreit hoch, und einen goldenen Kranz um die Leiste. 13 Und er goss für ihn vier goldene Ringe und befestigte sie an den vier Ecken an seinen vier Füßen 14 dicht unter der Leiste, dass man die Stangen hineintun und den Tisch tragen könnte. 15 Und er machte die Stangen aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold, dass man den Tisch damit trüge. 16 Und er machte auch aus feinem Golde das Gerät für den Tisch: Schüsseln und Löffel, Kannen und Schalen, in denen man das Trankopfer darbringen sollte. 17 Und er machte den Leuchter aus feinem, getriebenem Golde. Daran waren der Fuß und der Schaft, Kelche und Knäufe und Blumen. (Ex 25:31) 18 Sechs Arme gingen von seinen Seiten aus, nach jeder Seite drei Arme. 19 Drei Kelche wie Mandelblüten waren an jedem Arm mit Knäufen und Blumen. So gingen die sechs Arme von dem Leuchter aus. 20 An dem Leuchter aber waren vier Kelche mit Knäufen und Blumen, 21 je ein Knauf war unter jedem Paar der sechs Arme, die von ihm ausgingen. 22 Knäufe und Arme gingen aus dem Leuchter hervor. Er war ganz und gar aus feinem Gold getrieben. 23 Und er machte die sieben Lampen mit ihren Dochtscheren und Pfannen aus feinem Gold. 24 Aus einem Zentner feinen Goldes machte er ihn und all sein Gerät. 25 Er machte auch den Räucheraltar aus Akazienholz, eine Elle lang und ebenso breit, viereckig, und zwei Ellen hoch. Seine Hörner waren aus einem Stück mit ihm. (Ex 30:1; Ex 30:22) 26 Und er überzog ihn mit feinem Golde, seine Platte und seine Wände ringsherum und seine Hörner, und machte ihm einen Kranz ringsherum von Gold 27 und zwei goldene Ringe unter dem Kranz zu beiden Seiten, dass man Stangen hineintäte und ihn damit trüge. 28 Und die Stangen machte er aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold. 29 Und er machte das heilige Salböl und das Räucherwerk aus reiner Spezerei nach der Kunst des Salbenbereiters.
