New International Version

1 My heart is not proud, Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. 

2 But I have calmed and quietened myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. 

3 Israel, put your hope in the Lord both now and for evermore.

Still wie ein zufriedenes Kind

1 Ein Lied Davids, zu singen auf dem Weg nach Jerusalem. HERR! Ich denke nicht zu hoch von mir, ich schaue auf niemand herab. Ich frage nicht nach weit gesteckten Zielen, die unerreichbar für mich sind. (Sir 3:21) 

2 Nein, still und ruhig ist mein Herz, so wie ein sattes Kind im Arm der Mutter – still wie ein solches Kind bin ich geworden. (Ps 62:2) 

3 Volk Israel, vertrau dem HERRN von jetzt an und für alle Zukunft!
