1 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. 

2 Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and for evermore. 

3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. 

4 The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. 

5 Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, 

6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? 

7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; 

8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people. 

9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord.

1 Halleluja! Lobt, ihr Knechte des HERRN! Lobt den Namen des HERRN! (Ps 134:1; Ps 135:1) 

2 Gepriesen sei der Name des HERRN von nun an bis in Ewigkeit! (Ps 115:18; Da 2:20) 

3 Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Niedergang sei gelobt der Name des HERRN! (Mal 1:11) 

4 Hoch über alle Nationen ist der HERR, über den Himmel seine Herrlichkeit. (Ps 57:12) 

5 Wer ist wie der HERR, unser Gott, der hoch oben thront, (Ex 15:11; Ps 11:4; Ps 89:7; Isa 57:15) 

6 der in die Tiefe schaut – im Himmel und auf Erden? (Job 28:24; Ps 33:14) 

7 Er hebt den Geringen aus dem Staub empor, aus dem Schmutz erhöht er den Armen, (Ps 107:41) 

8 um ihn sitzen zu lassen bei Edlen, bei den Edlen seines Volkes. (1Sa 2:8) 

9 Der die Unfruchtbare des Hauses wohnen lässt als eine fröhliche Mutter von Söhnen! Halleluja! (Isa 54:1)
