Psalm 2

New International Version

1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? 

2 The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, 

3 ‘Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.’ 

4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. 

5 He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, 

6 ‘I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.’ 

7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree: He said to me, ‘You are my son; today I have become your father. 

8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. 

9 You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.’ 

10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. 

11 Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. 

12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Избраният от Бога цар – Божият помазаник

1 Защо се разоряват народите и племената намислят суета? (Ps 46:6; Ac 4:25; Ac 4:26) 

2 Опълчват се земните царе и управниците се наговарят заедно против ГОСПОДА и против Неговия Помазаник, като казват: (Ps 45:7; Joh 1:41) 

3 Нека разкъсаме връзките им и нека отхвърлим от себе си въжетата им. (Jer 5:5; Lu 19:14) 

4 Този, Който седи на небесата, ще се смее; Господ ще се поругае над тях. (Ps 11:4; Ps 37:13; Ps 59:8; Pr 1:26) 

5 Тогава ще им продума в гнева Си и в тежкото Си негодувание ще ги смути, като ще каже: 

6 Но Аз поставих Царя Си на Сион, святия Мой хълм. (2Sa 5:7) 

7 Аз ще изявя постановлението; ГОСПОД Ми каза: Ти си Мой Син; Аз днес Те родих. (Ac 13:33; Heb 1:5; Heb 5:5)

9 Ще ги съкрушиш с желязна тояга, ще ги строшиш като глинен съд. (Ps 89:23; Re 2:27; Re 12:5) 

10 И така, сега се вразумете, о, царе; научете се, земни съдии. 

11 Слугувайте на ГОСПОДА със страх и се радвайте с трепет. (Php 2:12; Heb 12:28)
