Psalm 147

New International Version

1 Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! 

2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. 

3 He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. 

4 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. 

5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. 

6 The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground. 

7 Sing to the Lord with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp. 

8 He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills. 

9 He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call. 

10 His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; 

11 the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. 

12 Extol the Lord, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion. 

13 He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you. 

14 He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat. 

15 He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. 

16 He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes. 

17 He hurls down hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast? 

18 He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow. 

19 He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. 

20 He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the Lord.

Химн на Божието величие

1 (По слав. 146.) Хвалете ГОСПОДА; защото е добро нещо да пеем хваления на нашия Бог, защото е приятно и хвалението е прилично. (Ps 33:1; Ps 92:1; Ps 135:3) 

2 ГОСПОД съгражда Йерусалим, събира израилските заточеници. (De 30:3; Ps 102:16) 

3 Изцелява съкрушените в сърце и превързва скърбите им. (Ps 51:17; Isa 57:15; Isa 61:1; Lu 4:18) 

4 Изброява броя на звездите, нарича ги всички по име. (Ge 15:5; Isa 40:26) 

5 Велик е нашият Господ и голяма е силата Му; разумът Му е безпределен. (1Ch 16:25; Ps 48:1; Ps 96:4; Ps 145:3; Isa 40:28; Na 1:3) 

6 ГОСПОД укрепва кротките, а нечестивите унижава до земята. (Ps 146:8; Ps 146:9) 

7 Пейте на ГОСПОДА и Му благодарете, пейте хваления с арфа на нашия Бог, 

8 Който покрива небето с облаци, приготвя дъжд за земята и прави да расте трева по планините; (Job 38:26; Job 38:27; Ps 104:13; Ps 104:14) 

9 Който дава храна на животните и на гарвановите пилета, които пиукат. (Job 38:41; Ps 104:27; Ps 104:28; Ps 136:25; Ps 145:15; Mt 6:26) 

10 Не се наслаждава в силата на коня, нито има благоволение в краката на мъжете. (Ps 33:16; Ho 1:7) 

11 ГОСПОД има благоволение в онези, които се боят от Него, в онези, които уповават на Неговата милост. (По слав. 147.) 

12 Слави ГОСПОДА, Йерусалиме; хвали твоя Бог, Сионе; 

13 защото Той укрепва лостовете на твоите порти, благославя синовете ти сред теб. 

14 Установява мир в твоите предели, насища те с най-изрядната пшеница. (Ps 132:15; Isa 60:17; Isa 60:18) 

15 Изпраща заповедта Си по земята; словото Му тича много бързо; (Job 37:12; Ps 107:20) 

16 дава сняг като вълна, разпръсква сланата като пепел, (Job 37:6) 

17 хвърля леда Си като късове; пред мраза Му кой може да устои? 

18 Пак изпраща словото Си и ги разтопява; прави вятъра Си да духа и водите да текат. (Job 37:10; Ps 147:15) 

19 Възвестява словото Си на Яков, наредбите Си и законите Си – на Израил. (De 33:2; Ps 76:1; Ps 78:5; Ps 103:7; Mal 4:4) 

20 Не е постъпил така с никой друг народ; и те не са познали присъдите Му. Алилуя! (De 4:32; Ro 3:1; Ro 3:2)
