1´Weiter sagte der HERR:` »Bau den Altar ´für die Brandopfer` aus Akazienholz. ´Seine Grundfläche` soll quadratisch sein, zweieinhalb Meter[1] mal zweieinhalb Meter[2], und seine Höhe soll eineinhalb Meter[3] betragen.2An den vier Ecken sollen Hörner aufragen, die aus einem Stück mit dem Altar gearbeitet sind. Beschlage den ´ganzen` Altar mit Bronze.3Fertige sein Zubehör ebenfalls aus Bronze: die Behälter für die Entsorgung der fettigen Asche, die Schaufeln, die Schalen ´für das Blut der Opfertiere`, die Fleischgabeln und die Kohlebecken.4Stell ein bronzenes Gitternetz ´mit hochgezogenen Seitenwänden` her und bring an seinen vier Ecken je einen bronzenen Ring an.5Leg das Gitternetz unter den Altar und befestige es an dem Vorsprung, der ´auf halber Höhe` um den Altar läuft, so dass das Netz den Altar bis zur halben Höhe umschließt.[4]6Fertige für den Altar ´zwei` Tragestangen aus Akazienholz und überziehe sie mit Bronze.7Für den Transport des Altars werden sie in die Ringe an seinen beiden Seiten gesteckt.8Der Altar soll aus Brettern gefertigt werden und innen hohl sein.[5] Er muss genau so gebaut werden, wie ich es dir hier auf dem Berg zeige[6]. Der Hof um die Wohnung des Herrn
9Steck mit Hilfe von Vorhängen aus gezwirntem Leinen rings um meine Wohnung einen Hof ab. Auf der Südseite soll der Vorhang fünfzig Meter[7] lang sein.10Dafür benötigst du zwanzig Pfosten mit Sockeln aus Bronze sowie Haken und Querstangen[8] aus Silber.11Auch auf der Nordseite soll der Vorhang fünfzig Meter[9] lang sein; hier brauchst du ebenso zwanzig Pfosten, zwanzig Sockel aus Bronze sowie Haken und Querstangen aus Silber.12An der Schmalseite im Westen soll der Vorhang fünfundzwanzig Meter[10] lang sein. Du benötigst dafür zehn Pfosten mit den dazugehörenden Sockeln.13Auch die Eingangsseite im Osten, Richtung Sonnenaufgang, soll fünfundzwanzig Meter[11] lang sein.14Rechts vom Eingang[12] soll ein Vorhang von siebeneinhalb Meter[13] Länge stehen, aufgehängt an drei Pfosten mit den dazuzugehörenden Sockeln.15Links vom Eingang[14] soll ebenfalls ein Vorhang von siebeneinhalb Meter[15] Länge stehen, aufgehängt an drei Pfosten mit den dazugehörenden Sockeln.16Der Eingang zum Hof wird durch einen ´weiteren`, zehn Meter[16] langen Vorhang abgeschirmt, der aus gezwirntem Leinen besteht und mit eingestickten Mustern in den Farben Blau, Purpur und Karmesinrot verziert ist. Aufgehängt wird er an vier Pfosten, die mit Sockeln versehen sind.17Verbinde alle Pfosten rings um den Hof mit silbernen Querstangen. Fertige die Haken für die Pfosten aus Silber und ihre Sockel aus Bronze.18Mach also ´die Begrenzung für` den Hof fünfzig Meter[17] lang, fünfundzwanzig Meter[18] breit und zweieinhalb Meter[19] hoch. Sie soll aus ´weißem`, gezwirntem Leinen bestehen. Die Sockel ´für die Pfosten` fertige aus Bronze,19ebenso die Pflöcke für das Zelt und für die Umzäunung und alle weiteren Gegenstände, die für den Dienst ´in meiner Wohnung` benötigt werden.
Öl für den Leuchter
20Fordere die Israeliten auf, dir besonders reines Olivenöl[20] zu bringen. ´Der Ölvorrat soll dazu dienen`, dass das Licht auf dem Leuchter jede Nacht[21] brennen kann.21Aaron und seine Söhne sollen ´den Leuchter` im Zelt der Begegnung vor dem Vorhang ´aufstellen`, der die Bundeslade mit den Gesetzestafeln verhüllt[22]. ´Sie müssen` dafür sorgen, dass ´das Licht jede Nacht` vom Abend bis zum Morgen vor ´mir`, dem HERRN, leuchtet. Diese Ordnung sollen die Israeliten für alle Zeiten durch alle Generationen einhalten.

Der Vorhof und der Eingang
9Du sollst der Wohnung auch einen Vorhof anfertigen: auf der Südseite Behänge aus gezwirntem Leinen, 100 Ellen lang, auf der einen Seite, (2Mo 38,9; 2Chr 4,9; Ps 84,11; Ps 100,4; Hes 40,17)10und 20 Säulen auf 20 ehernen Füßen und die Haken der Säulen mit ihren Verbindungsstäben aus Silber. (2Mo 38,10)11Und auch auf der Längsseite nach Norden sollen Behänge sein, 100 Ellen lang, und 20 Säulen auf 20 ehernen Füßen und die Haken der Säulen mit ihren Verbindungsstäben aus Silber. Das Öl für den Leuchter
20Und du sollst den Kindern Israels gebieten, dass sie dir reines Öl aus zerstoßenen Oliven für den Leuchter bringen, damit beständig Licht unterhalten werden kann.21In der Stiftshütte[2], außerhalb des Vorhangs, der vor dem Zeugnis hängt, sollen Aaron und seine Söhne es zurichten, vom Abend bis zum Morgen, vor dem HERRN. Das ist eine ewige Ordnung, die von den Kindern Israels eingehalten werden soll bei ihren [künftigen] Geschlechtern. 1‘Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits[1] high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.[2]2Make a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze.3Make all its utensils of bronze – its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans.4Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network.5Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar.6Make poles of acacia wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze.7The poles are to be inserted into the rings so they will be on two sides of the altar when it is carried.8Make the altar hollow, out of boards. The courtyard
9‘Make a courtyard for the tabernacle. The south side shall be a hundred cubits[3] long and is to have curtains of finely twisted linen,10with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.11The north side shall also be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.12‘The west end of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits[4] wide and have curtains, with ten posts and ten bases.13On the east end, towards the sunrise, the courtyard shall also be fifty cubits wide.14Curtains fifteen cubits[5] long are to be on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases,15and curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on the other side, with three posts and three bases.16‘For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain twenty cubits[6] long, of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen – the work of an embroiderer – with four posts and four bases.17All the posts around the courtyard are to have silver bands and hooks, and bronze bases.18The courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide,[7] with curtains of finely twisted linen five cubits[8] high, and with bronze bases.19All the other articles used in the service of the tabernacle, whatever their function, including all the tent pegs for it and those for the courtyard, are to be of bronze.
Oil for the lampstand
20‘Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.21In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.
