Noah, seine Familie und die Tiere gehen in die Arche
1´Schließlich` sagte der HERR zu Noah: »Geh ´jetzt` mit deiner ganzen Familie in die Arche. Denn ich habe gesehen, dass du mir im Gegensatz zu deinen Zeitgenossen gehorsam bist[1].2Nimm von allen reinen Tieren je sieben Männchen und sieben Weibchen mit, und von allen nicht reinen je ein Männchen und ein Weibchen.3Auch bei den Vögeln sollst du je sieben Paare mitnehmen. So werden die verschiedenen Tierarten überleben und wieder die ganze Erde bevölkern.[2]4Noch sieben Tage, dann werde ich es vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte ununterbrochen regnen lassen und alle Lebewesen, die ich geschaffen habe, auslöschen. Sie sollen vom Erdboden verschwinden.«5Noah machte alles genau so, wie der HERR es ihm aufgetragen hatte.6Als die große Flut über die Erde hereinbrach, war er 600 Jahre alt.7Zusammen mit seiner Frau, seinen Söhnen und seinen Schwiegertöchtern ging er in die Arche und brachte sich vor der Flut in Sicherheit[3].8´Auch die Tiere kamen`. Reine und nicht reine Landtiere, Vögel und Kriechtiere9trafen paarweise bei Noah ein, jeweils ein Männchen mit einem Weibchen, ´und gingen` mit ihm in die Arche, genau wie Gott es ihm gesagt hatte.10Sieben Tage später kam die große Flut über die Erde.
Die Erde wird überflutet
11In dem Jahr, in dem Noah 600 Jahre alt wurde, am siebzehnten Tag des zweiten Monats, brachen die Quellen der Urflut[4] auf, und die Schleusen des Himmels öffneten sich.12Vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte lang regnete es ´ununterbrochen` auf die Erde.13An jenem Tag ging Noah zusammen mit seiner Frau, ´seinen Söhnen` Sem, Ham und Jafet sowie seinen Schwiegertöchtern in die Arche.14Auch die Tiere ´kamen an Bord`, all die verschiedenen Landtiere, Kriechtiere, Vögel und anderen geflügelten Tiere.15Paarweise trafen sie bei Noah ein ´und gingen` in die Arche. Alle Tierarten, die atmen, waren vertreten.16Es kamen jeweils[5] ein Männchen und ein Weibchen, genau wie Gott es Noah gesagt hatte. Und der HERR schloss hinter Noah die Tür.17Vierzig Tage lang strömten die Fluten ´vom Himmel herab` auf die Erde. Das Wasser stieg an und hob die Arche empor, und sie begann zu schwimmen[6].18Die Wassermassen schwollen weiter an und überschwemmten die Erde[7], während die Arche auf der Wasseroberfläche dahintrieb.19Unaufhaltsam stieg das Wasser und begrub alles unter sich[8], bis auch die höchsten Berge[9] bedeckt waren.20Am Ende stand das Wasser sieben Meter über den Gipfeln[10].21Alles, was auf dem Land lebte, starb: die Vögel, die Nutztiere, die wilden Tiere, die unzähligen kleinen Tiere, von denen es auf der Erde wimmelte, und alle Menschen.22Alle Lebewesen, die atmeten[11] und auf dem Land zu Hause waren, ertranken.23Gott vernichtete alles Leben auf der Erde: Sämtliche Menschen, Landtiere, Kriechtiere und Vögel wurden ausgelöscht. Nur Noah und alle, die bei ihm in der Arche waren, blieben verschont.24Hundertfünfzig Tage lang war die Erde von Wasser überflutet.
1Und der HERR sprach zu Noah: Geh in die Arche, du und dein ganzes Haus[1]! Denn dich [allein] habe ich vor mir gerecht erfunden unter diesem Geschlecht. (Ps 91,14; 2Petr 2,5)2Nimm von allem reinen Vieh je sieben und sieben mit dir, das Männchen und sein Weibchen; von dem unreinen Vieh aber je ein Paar, das Männchen und sein Weibchen; (3Mo 11,3; 5Mo 14,4)3auch von den Vögeln des Himmels je sieben und sieben, Männchen und Weibchen, um auf dem ganzen Erdboden Nachkommen am Leben zu erhalten. (Spr 18,10; Mt 24,38)8Von dem reinen Vieh und von dem Vieh, das nicht rein war, und von den Vögeln und von allem, was auf dem Erdboden kriecht, (1Mo 7,2)9gingen Männchen und Weibchen paarweise zu Noah in die Arche, wie Gott es dem Noah geboten hatte. Das Gericht der Sintflut
11Im sechshundertsten Lebensjahr Noahs, am siebzehnten Tag des zweiten Monats, an diesem Tag brachen alle Quellen der großen Tiefe auf, und die Fenster des Himmels öffneten sich. (1Mo 7,6; 1Mo 8,2; Spr 8,28)12Und es regnete auf der Erde 40 Tage und 40 Nächte lang. (1Mo 7,4)13An eben diesem Tag war Noah in die Arche gegangen mit Sem, Ham und Japhet, seinen Söhnen, und mit seiner Frau und den drei Frauen seiner Söhne; (1Mo 6,18; Hebr 11,7)14sie und alle Wildtiere nach ihrer Art und alles Vieh[2] nach seiner Art und alles Gewürm, das auf der Erde kriecht, nach seiner Art, auch alle Vögel nach ihrer Art, jeder gefiederte Vogel.15Und sie gingen zu Noah in die Arche, je zwei und zwei, von allem Fleisch, das Lebensodem in sich hatte. (1Mo 7,8; 1Mo 8,19)16Die aber hineingingen, Männchen und Weibchen von allem Fleisch, kamen herbei, wie Gott ihm geboten hatte. Und der HERR schloss hinter ihm zu. (1Mo 7,4)18Und die Wasser wurden so gewaltig und nahmen so sehr zu auf der Erde, dass die Arche auf den Wassern dahinfuhr. Then the Lord shut him in.17For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.18The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.19They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.20The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[1]21Every living thing that moved on land perished – birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.22Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.23Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth.
